When I woke up I looked up to see Patrick still asleep. I stood up and let Sammy outside. I went into the kitchen and made me a small bowl of cereal. Right as I finished Patrick started to stir telling me he was about to wake up. I turned on the TV and went to the news channel. Patrick walked in the room and sat down next to me.
"Well good morning gorgeous." He said as he gave me a kiss on the cheek.
"Morning." I said taking a bite of my TRIX cereal.
"Hey hey hey. Don't you know?" He said with a disappointed face.
"Know what?" I asked.
"TRIX are for kids!" He said grabbing the bowl and running.
"HEY I HAVE AN INNER 5 YEAR OLD!!" I yelled running after him. He took a bite of my TRIX and gave the bowl back to me.
"Grate now there soggy!" I said playfully. He laughed and kissed my forehead before walking away laughing. I poured out my cereal and let Sammy in.
If you couldn't tell Sammy is only mean to Patrick when he beats Amanda.
I walked over to Patrick and told him I was going to get the mail. When I walked out side I grabbed the mail and right before I opened the door my phone buzzed in my pocket. I pulled it out to see a text.
Unknown- Not so fast there princess
Me- What now
Unknown- I left you a present in the backyard.
I walked through the house to the back yard to see a letter.
Unknown- Open it
When I opened it I saw a picture of Patrick beating me. I wanted to cry. It couldn't be real. It's not right.
Unknown- Now I know you don't believe me but this will help you figure out why you were actually in the hospital.
Me- Bastard
Unknown- No no no that's not what you call me. You can call me...
Unknown- How about daddy?
Me- Pig. Your a filthy pig.
Unknown- bye bye princess.
He didn't text anything after that. I put my phone in my pocket and walked inside.
"Why did you go to the back yard?" I decided not to tell him about the texts. "Oh. I had a complete brain fart and though Sammy was still outside." I said while fake laughing.
"You what!" He yelled while laughing his ass off.
"Hey don't judge!" I yelled as I threw a pillow at him.
We both ended up on the floor rolling around with laughter. At first mine was fake but then Patrick snorted an I died.
When we finally caught our breath I stood up and went to see what bills we got.
"Patrick you Mom sent you a letter!" I yelled. His mom had Alzheimer's. It was rare for her to remember she had a son.
"Wow she remembered our address."
"She probably had it written down."
"True. True." He said as he opened the letter. He read the letter and fell to ho knees as he began crying.
"Whoa whoa whoa baby!" I said as I fell to my knees and laid my hands on his shoulders.
"What is it?" I asked. All he did was hand me the letter. It read...

I began to cry as I wrapped my arms around him.
"Let it out. It's gonna be okay. Shhh." I said as I rubbed circles on his back.
I looked up at the sky.

It's gonna be okay. Right?
