As night falls in the last day of summer the only thing that is keeping me going is y/n.

Me and her meant when she moved in next to me. But thing is she has a boyfriend named Luke.

He is the strongest football player so I have no chance. Even though I make her laugh I'm in the friend zone.

But maybe that while change probably not though. If I do want her to be my girlfriend maybe I should tell her about the scars on my wrist.

But what if she takes it the wrong way? To many thoughts ran though my mind. When I finally looked at the clocked it was 4:05.((I made a taken by sleep pun))

I woke up to see the sun shining in my face. It was really bright for it only being 6 in the morning.

Then it hit me it's the first day of school. I face palmed then went to get dressed.

I got dressed grabbed my book bag then headed out the door.

I walked to the bus stop and waited for y/n because last year we always road the bus together.

A couple minutes later there y/n was. "Hey ty how are you this morning?" She asked "good how are you?" I asked "good I didn't get much sleep though" she said as the bus pulled up.

We both got on and we sat together so we could talk a bit more. "So how are you and Luke?" I asked "were actually pretty good we are meeting for coffee after school he said he something important to tell me" y/n said really happily.

I think I knew what Luke was gonna tell y/n name but I don't want to ruin her Spirit so all I did was nod my head.

We made it to school and y/n went to Luke and they kissed while I went to my friend josh and mark.

"Hey guys" I said "oh hey any luck with y/n?" Josh asked "no but I honestly don't think I'm gonna get anywhere with her since she has Luke " I replied

"Are you sure?" Mark asked "well she said something about Luke having something important to tell her so I'm mean he could break up with her" I said remembering what   y/n said.

" well good luck we got to get to class see ya" josh said then him and mark left. So I went to my locker too.

I walked home thinking about y/n if Luke  was really gonna dump her. Even though i would rather y/n be dating me she has a fragile heart so he might be able to rip it into small tinny pieces.

Yes it sounds brutal but he could. her fragile big heart is in his hands and he hand the power to destroy it.

All the thoughts made me realize I was made it back to my house. So I went in and walked up stairs to my room.

I sat on my bed and took out my homework yeah we had math homework on the first day of school woo de do.

          {{30 minutes later}}

"Tyler your friend is here to see you" we my mom said that I thought it was josh so I said "ok they can come up here".

When my door opened it reveled y/n with the saddest eyes and the tearest
Too.

"Oh what happened?" I asked pushing my homework off my bed "Luke dumped me he said I wasn't good enough" she said.

I got up and hugged her and she hugged back. Plus I could tell she need someone to hold her.

"Shh it's ok don't worry about him he will regret breaking up with you because you are a beautiful, smart, and funny girl and he just doesn't see that" I said rubbing my hand against her back.

"Tyler you are so nice that's why I like you" she said "I like you too" I whispered "what" she asked then I kissed her.
