Hazel's pov

After 30 minutes in the bus we had finally reached the bus stop where jimin's cousin was waiting for us.

He greeted Jimin they did their handshake and Jimin introduced us. I awkwardly shaked his hand.

His name was Franklin. He was 2 years older than Jimin.

We got in his car and he drove us to their grandmother's house.

It was a boring 30 minutes drive.

Jimin and Franklin had a lot of catching up because they hadn't seen each other in 6 months.

Me being the awkward one decided to not participate in their conversation. At some point they were talking about girlfriends and bla bla and i wished the ground would just swallow me whole.

I thanked the Lord when we finally had arrived.

Jimin introduce me to each individual in here.

His grandmother was really cute. She was small and looked like she could give a really warm hug.

And its was completely true.

"Why haven't you been talking.?" Jimin said coming to sit next to me.

"I'm feeling very awkward here. " I said sipping on my drink.

"I understand that but you can just go up to someone and start a conversation." He replied.

Like that would be easy for me.

Time flew by really slow. It got me thinking about my mom, how she was doing.

After the sad thoughts i decided to do something with what Jimin told me and got up to go find someone to talk to or at least keep me company.

I soon found not one but two company for the the night. It was one of Jimin's cousin abd their friend.

We talked about school and anything and everything. Well it was mostly them talked and me nodding. Only saying some stuff here and there.

It was fun after an hour or two Jimin had found me abd asked me if i wanted to go to a party his other cousin was going to. He said it was the one who drove us here.

I had agreed and nodded.

Jimin said his goodbyed and i waved and give his grandma a hug

When we got to the party it was in full swing.

Drunken teenagers passed out on the grass. Some throwing up in the bushes.

Red solo cups lying everywhere.

We got in and Franklin said he would go look for his friends.

"I've decided that we're not gonna get drunk you can have one sip, im gonna have one sip and we're gonna get out of here sober." Jimin said grabbing my hand and pulling me somewhere.

I shrugged.

"Drunk Hazel is for some other time." He said winking at me.

We had more than a sip and we were drunken or at least buzzed.

I could already feel the headache that was beginning to for at tge back of my head because i couldn't think straight and the loud music.

Jimin and i were sitting on the sofa in the living room watching the people in here dancing.

We had danced for 20 minutes and had decided to take a break.

The alcohol was slowly wearing off.

I tested my head on Jimin's shoulder.

"You need to talk more often Hazel." He said turning his head a little to look at me. "I love hearing your voice."

I justed looked at him.

"You need to tell me if you feel the same way." Jimin said.

Is he for real. Was he telling me he had feelings for him?

"Are you serious?" I asked him. "You like me?"

"Well, yes. I have for a couple of months already." Jimin answered scratching his neck.

Which i found really cute.

"You have no idea how long i've try convincing myself to do this." I said.

"Do what?"

I got up from the sofa and he got up too. Maybe he thought i would walk away so he'd had to stop me.

I turned fully so i was facing him.

"I'm gonna do this." I motivated myself in a whisper.

I got on my toes and grabbed his face in my hands.

"What are yo-."

And then i kissed him.
