A long sigh slipped from my lips as I look out the car window with images burring past as we carry down a high way rode with a forest on both sides of the rode. Music filled my ears as I glanced away. It felt as if I was being put against my own will to go to this camp. Oh wait. That's right, I am.

The car began to slow down as felt my body lean to the right as the car turned onto a gravel drive way that would lead to the place I've been dreading to go to for the past 2 weeks. Now, I'll have to deal with complete stranger for the next 6 weeks.

"El, we're here." Spoke my mother's voice from the passenger seat in the front as the car came to a complete stop. I quickly pause my music as I sighed once again, getting out of the back seat.

Sun light glistened through the leaves in the trees, unrecognizable conversations bubbled up from the wind. The gravel crunched underneath my black boots, walking towards the back of the car before either one of my parents could reach it.

"Why hello there. Have you checked in with one of the camp councilors?" A female voice chirped behind my back.

Quickly, I turn on my heels to face a young girl maybe a few years older than me, with light blond hair in a high pony tail and piercing blue eyes. "Uh no. I just got here." I said, pointing to the car.

The smile on her lips stayed there while I responded, although I knew it was fake. "Well, once you do get all your things, make sure to check in. I'm Gemma by the way. If you have any questions, you can come to me to get them answered." She said, the tone in her voice sounding a little stuck up, like the way I had expected it to be.

More footsteps came behind me as Gemma had walked away from me, her pony tail swaying back and forth as she walked. I knew these footsteps were my parents, who I quite frankly, did not want to talk to at the moment.

"Who was that Elowyn? Someone you knew?" My father asked as I turned towards the trunk of the car.

"Some girl named Gemma. How much did you pay for this camp? Sure doesn't seem like it wouild be for people who can only afford cheap things." I spat as I grabbed my bags a little roughly, slinging one of my bags over my shoulder before walking away with one dragged behind me.

Before I had walked away, the expression on my parents faces' were in shock with what I had said. Never said I showed respect for them, since they wanted me to change my ways. I walked towards the table filled with people sitting behind them, all having a name card on their chest with a large amount of papers in front of them.

"Hello, are you here to check in?" One of them, a woman who must have been in her late 20's at least.

I gave a weak smile, trying not to let my anger that had bubbled up inside of me show through. "Yeah. My name is Elowyn Myers." I said, trying to sound at least a little polite.

The woman nodded, scanning through the files of paper, before finally coming across my name with my cabin number. She handed the white paper to me and smiled kindly.

My eyes scanned the peice of paper before she had answered. I quickly lift my gaze up to her once again, letting her know I would be listening.

"Now, you're in cabin number 11. You will have 3 roommates, who should either be here or are going to be here soon. I'm one of the 6 counilors, you may call me Stephanie." Stephanie said, speaking a little quickly. "I really do hope to get to know you over the 6 weeks you're here." She finally added, smiling sweetly, that couldn't possibly be fake.

"Thank you." I said shortly, before turning away from the tables and heading in the direction of a sign that pointed towards cabins 10-14, the last group of cabins in the cabin. Probably for the older kids, like me.

The trail was a litle longer than I'd expected but, hey. I'm away from all the noise. My eyes scan the trees that held the shade along the path. Weather here wasn't all that bad. Yet. There was a few people walking around here, the 4 cabins were on a small hill that seemed to over look the place.

While looking away from the path, I felt my body collide with a tall body. I nearly lost my ballance but, I caught my footing.

"I'm sorry." I said looking to see a tall boy with dark brown curly hair, a caramel hazle eye color with tan skin to pull it all together.

"It's alright, I should have been watching where I was going." The boy responded before moving out of my way and I made my way up the hill again.

Within a few moments, I had reached my cabin, pulling the screen door open to reveal the cabin not so bad looking. It had 4 beds, that looked nearly brand new. No one seemed to have clamed any of the beds, nor did anyone appear to be here yet. I slowly made my way to one of the beds in the corner, placing my bags on top of the matress.

I checked out the rest of the cabin, finding that most of it had been barely ever used. Must have ben one of the really new ones. Just as I had laid down on the bedding, the screen door creaked open.
