I switch off the alarm clock, with a grin splattered on my face.
'Time for the best day of my life' I thought.
Okay, we both know that's not how I woke up. Nobody's that happy for school, unless they are in those cheesy books. Plus alarm clocks are so cliché. Let's start that over.
My alarm starts to play Location, by Khalid. I turn the alarm off, my bare arms leaving the warm embrace of the blanket. A groan escapes my lips, as I glance at the clock. Its 8:30, and school starts in 30 minutes. I could miss school, and sleep in, but why miss the things I could do to Ellie and Ashton?
You see, I had a back to school party. Long story short, I found them in bed together, they saw me, and they told me everything. On accident. I tricked them into telling me, and what I found out was that they been going out for a while, a year to be exact.
In that same month, my mom and dad began to fight. They soon got a divorce, and decided that I would live with my dad.
Since the divorce, my dad hasn't been home. He says he has to go on business trips, but is he? Is he really?
There was no more hugs from Mom, or cheesy jokes from Dad. I was alone. But then, I met my new friend, Brielle, and she helped me get back on my feet, I felt better and badder than ever. It's time they reap just what they sow.
I drag myself to the bathroom, and change into a black crop top, accompanied by a Adidas cap, a camo jacket, jeans, and some Adidas. I then wash my face, and apply some make-up, which isn't much; just eyeliner, and black matte lipstick. I walk down the stairs, grab my backpack, and open the door.
Time for the best day of school!
