At the age of eighteen, Rue was a self-proclaimed hacker. Her skills were beyond anyone else in the world, and she hacked whatever she wanted . She didn't give a damn about who she hacked and why she did it. For a majority of the time, she did it because it gave her power. If she had someone she didn't like, she could simply hack them and throw their life into the wrong lane.

By the time she had reached the age of twenty, S.H.I.E.L.D had caught sight of her. Director Nick Fury sent Natasha Romanoff to capture her, and she succeeds. The one thing that confused Nick Fury about Rue, was that she was more than willing to join them. And when he asked her why she said yes, she purely answered that she'd get paid to hack.

A year passed, and Rue found herself working with the Avengers, and she caught sight of Pietro Maximoff. The two of them were known to flirt with one another, and neither of them thought of anything happening between the two of them. That was until it did.

But one mission went wrong, and the two are split apart. The only thing that Pietro finds himself with, is a box of unmarked letters, and he had a feeling they'd be from her.
