The Second Reason
December 1, Sunday
Loria City, United Kingdom
As much as I really want to spend my Sunday morning sleeping, I couldn't since someone is being a persistent arse. My phone keeps on blaring non-stop.
I lazily sit up from my bed and have no choice but to answer. My ring tone keeps on replaying in my mind.
"Fück you," I groggily say, rubbing the sleep from my eyes. I yawn without hesitation. I don't care if that person finds it offensive and disgusting; my wonderful sleep is ruined.
"Just because I told you I like you doesn't mean I'm willing to shag you Lewis, you're disgusting," someone replies. Irritation soon enough fills me. I hate you Skye Levi.
"I'm sure you'll be begging for it soon enough," I reply back, smirking even if she couldn't see me. I hear her make gag noises.
"You are fucking disgusting, now go and get dressed you horny idiot, we're going somehwere," she shouts on the other line. My ear drums are going to explode.
"Or else what pudgy?" I counter back. She then cackles all of a sudden. It's quite evil if you ask me.
"I'm already outside your house right now so if you don't want your mum to show me another batch of your baby pictures, get dressed and stop complaining!" she answers. She's blackmailing me with the use of my mum, how bloody brilliant!
I scowl. "Fine," I reply with gritted teeth before ending the phone call.
I stand up with all my will power and head to the bathroom. I strip all my clothes of enter the shower. I make sure to let the warm water relax me. Skye's irritating attitude is just unbearable. After feeling satisfied, I exit the shower and wrap the towel around my waist. I then dry myself thoroughly and wear my clothes. I make sure to grab my wallet, earphones, and phone before heading down stairs.
I see Jake watching television and he suddenly notices me.
"Hi Jeremy," I smile at him and give his hair a ruffle. I head to the kitchen to get a cookie on the table.
I see my mum looking at me as I move around. She's acting weird again.
"Good Morning mum," I greet to her. She then starts to laugh.
"You do know it's two in the afternoon already Jeremy," she says. I cock an eyebrow at her. Isn't she supposed to be used to my habits?
She just smiles and I decide to look at my phone to check the time myself. I was shocked to have received two messages from Keith, five from Lachlan, three from Jasper, six from Caleb, and a missed call from Matthew. Holy shite I completely forgot.
"I got to go mum, the lads are looking for me!" I say before kissing her on the cheek.
"Okay then, you take care," she replies. I say a quick goodbye to Jake before exiting the house. As I close the door shut, I see Skye frustratingly talking to someone on the phone.
"Mum, let's just talk about it when I get home. Not now," her voice is laced with irritation. I wonder what's happening. She pauses for a while before saying, "Okay, bye," she turns around and spots me. Her eyes widen in panic. "How much have you heard?" She asks, eyeing me.
"Not much," I reply without hesitation. It's the truth though, I haven't heard much. She continues to eye me for a moment before taking a deep breath.
