Chapter 8 {Waking up}

***Skylar's POV***

I slowly open my eyes, not being able to see correctly. My vision is as blurred as it was when I blacked out. The bed I'm in isn't comfortable at all. I quickly turn around to be a little more comfortable.

"Omg Skye?!"

"Skylar!!!"

"Are you okay?"

"Oooh my god"

I hear many voices speaking at the same time, but I can't hear very well. My head hurts really bad and my left arm hurts. As I clear up my vision, I see needles plugged into me and special medical band-aids on my scars. I take a look around an see medical stuff everywhere and white walls. Everything is either green or white here.

Then I realize I'm in a hospital.

I still can't see the faces of the people surrounding me, but it's a little bit clearer already. The problem now is, my head hurts really bad because of all the people talking.

Oh and why am I in a hospital?

A few moments later, my eyes can finally capture the scene. I first see Connor, then Jc, and the rest of O2L, followed by Alexina and Leyla, my two best friends.

How and why are they here?

A whirl of questions and thoughts trot in my head, causing me a bigger headake than the one I had before. I almost can't breathe.

"Leave her alone guys! Let her breathe" Connor says to the others. They back up a bit as I sit down on the really uncomfortable hospital bed.

"Um... What am I doing here?" I ask my friends. I have so many questions, but I don't think they want me to drown them with my pointless questions.

"We're just so happy to finally get good new from you Skye" Alex says.

"Um okay but first of all, why am I in a hospital and how long have I been here?" I ask them again, wanting more answers.

"You have been in a coma for 4 months and we thought we would never see our friend again... We were all so depressed and sad without you. We missed our smiling Skylar" Kian says as a grin appears on his cute puppy face.

Wait. Let me think straight. I was in a coma for 4 months? Why? Questions still invade my head.

"You also missed PlaylistLIVE. Leyla and Alex went for you, Jc invited them. They also filmed videos to keep your channel running" Trevor adds.

"Thanks you so much guys.. But I still don't get it. Why was I in a coma?" I question them.

"You, eh... Had anorexia and you just were too weak to wake up. The nurses needled you so you could gain a bit of weight because you were too skinny and weak to get up. I guess it worked, our Skylar is now back" Connor says as he gets up and hugs me tight.

"What's anorexia?"

I seriously have no idea what he is talking about. What is anorexia? Is that a disease or cancer or something?

"Anorexia is an eating disorder. You stop eating, exercise and all to loose weight because you think you're fat, just like you did." Leyla tells me.

Wait, I don't seem to remember any of that. My brain still hurts from all the information that I was just given.

"I think we should call a nurse to tell them you're finally awake" Jc says, getting up.

"I'll come with you" Alexina smiles and gets up, walking towards Jc. Her hand slips into Jc's, as they both exchange a cute grin.

Wait. They're together now? Aha, that's cute. I smile to myself.

A few minutes later, three nurses rush in the hospital room, taking my temperature, my pressure and other stuff.

"You will have to come back to the hospital every weekend. I hope you don't mind, but we'll give you some meds and a list of the food you should eat everyday to be healthy" a nurse prevents me.

They walk away and give me a quick hope and friendly smile.

"We should probably go and let Skye rest a bit" Ricky says.

They all agree as they get up and walk away, waving at me and saying goodbye and whishing me luck.

Connor, being the last one to get up, walks towards me, gives me a quick kiss on the forehead and says:

"It'll be okay Skye, never give up"

Sorry it's been a while since I haven't updated. I broke my foot yesterday... It hurts really bad. Since I can't really do anything for a month or two, I will update more :)
