Chapter 6 {Gym}

***Skylar's POV***

53, 54, 55, 56...

I'm out of breath, my heart is pumping faster than ever. I can't feel my toes anymore and I'm such in a lack of energy that I'm about to pass out. My head hurts so bad, but I'm so determined that I won't stop. My vision is so blurred I can't barely see anymore.

I suddently fall to my knees on the floor, not a single inch of energy left in my body. I quickly grab the water bottle next to me and drink it all in one shot. It feels so good... Then I lay on the ground and close my eyes. I don't care who sees me or what they'll think, because I really need a little break.

But after this short pause, I'll do it again.

***Jc's POV***

"Guys, I'll be at the gym. It's been a while since I haven't worked out"

"Okay dude" Kian answers me. "But don't take too long. We need you to film a video"

"I promise I'll be back in time. Bye guys!" I say and wave as I grab my keys.

I walk outside the house and feel the fresh wind hit my face as I'm heading to my car. I hop in and start the car, ready to drive.

I have no idea why I took the car, the gym is so close to my house. Within a few minutes, I was there.

I entered the building and showed my member card to the lady at the reception. As I was making my way to the «bicycle» thingies, I saw something or someone lying on the floor. The curiosity takes over me and I walk over that weird thing to have a better look at it.

"Skylar? What are you doing here?" I ask, not being sure if it really is Skylar.

"Jc? Is that you?" She says, opening her eyes. "I was, um, eh.. bored so I came here to execise for fun, I guess?" Her voice is shaking. "What are you doing here?

"I was about to workout but then I saw you. Are you sure you're alright? Girls don't usually come to the gym and your face is really pale" I tell her.

I'm kinda worried. She's been acting weird for the past few days. I'll have to talk to Connor about that.

"I'm fine. I guess I'll just go.."

She weakly and slowly gets up, having a little bit of trouble walking.

And that's when I realize how skinny she is. I can see her bones and that's not normal...

She says she's fine, but she doesn't look kine. I know she's not okay.

...

"What took you so long Jc?" Kian asks me. "We filmed the video without you, sorry buddy."

"It's fine, dude. I just didn't execise at all" I say.

"What?" Ricky yells. "You gotta workout bro"

"Hey, hey, hey. Look it's not my fault. It's not about me it's-"

"Tell us what happened Jc" Connor cuts me.

"It's about Skylar. She, she..." I start.

"She's in the hospital."

I'm super sorry this is a really small update but my friend was kind of begging me to make it. And besides, I'll be at my cousin's house for the weekend and I'll have plenty of time to write so expect at least a longer chapter sturday night :)
