POV: Hermione. Ministry Of Magic.

I was in my office... Busy in my duties as Minister. Also, going over wedding details for Phoenix and Jagger's wedding being held this summer after graduation, just before their new apprenticeships began in the fall.

Phoenix was studying as a witchwife under Samantha Stephens, who was retiring next fall and taking her position at St. Mungo's. The same woman who delivered her and her twin sister.... Along with saving my life.

Jagger was going to be a heart healer, studying under the famous healer Augustus Pye, at St. Mungo's, who specializes in heart maladies, surgeries, and procedures. Their lives were planned out before my very eyes. Mature and ready for the next phases in their lives as a married couple in our wizarding world.

Phoenix and Jagger wanted to have a tropical wedding in our private escape to our beloved Hawaii. A small affair with close friends and family.

Luxia, my vivaciously sweet Luxia. Was more of a wild dreamer. She hadn't made any plans, as yet, or to our knowledges. All she knew, was that she wanted more out of her colorful adventurous life, because of her past hurts. I was thankful for Professor James McAvoy, helping her to see what a real loving relationship was supposed to be. We loved James. We wanted them to be together. Regardless in what we longed for, it wasn't our decision.

Suddenly, I heard the tapping of a messenger owl at my window.

I went to retrieve my letter written to me in Luxia's handwriting tearing it open profusely.

Mummy,

I have been in deep contemplation about my life. (Especially with us graduating soon and Phoenix becoming engaged...) And what my future holds for me.

After many years of agony, I know what I want to do with it...

I want to follow my dreams exactly as you and Daddy always encouraged us.

I'm going to be an actress.

I've found a small studio apartment in Soho, New York City. As to which, I'm renting from the help of my part time job, working with Queenie Goldstein's granddaughter, Bethany, in her Potions boutique called 'Bell, Book, and Candle.'

The theatre is my passion. And maybe someday, even more could happen for me.

I love you and daddy so much. I know you will support me and my chosen career. I've told James and he is devastated that I'm leaving. I do not need anymore distraught in my life. Please be happy for me, as you are for Phoenix.

Your Other Loving Daughter,

Lux. ❤️

My tears hit the parchment splattering ink everywhere. An actress? I just never thought of such a career for her. But, in all actuality, if one us would be an actress in the Malfoy Family it could be our Luxia. She was adorably ambitiously talented and had a flare for the dramatics. She would do well in this industry. I just didn't know if Draco would approve. He would have to, her choice has already been made.

I spoke to him in his mind to met me in my office. Pulling myself together before he arrived.

Within an instant, he was there before me in his devilishly delicious smirk and expensive dark maroon suit and tailored onyx dress shirt.

Provoking my naughty side to have him take me on this desk... like we do almost every other day. Just being a typical day at the office.

I stood to greet my husband. As he wrapped me in his strong arms, holding me and lovingly gazing into my eyes as if he hadn't seen me in months.

"What's the urgency, love? You need me so soon, after our lunch date?" Draco seductively drawled kissing my neck, bringing up our sexual rendezvous from just a few hours before.

"I always need you, Malfoy..." I flirtatiously lingered in his ear smirking. "We have some news, Luxia just sent me a letter..." I handed Draco our daughter's letter as he read it adamantly.

"She's Barking!! An Actress?! An Actress? Really Hermione? You're alright with this?!" Draco agitatedly groaned through his objective statements.

"Yes, Draco. This is her passion. We must support her. I believe in her." I told him with tears in my eyes. Worrying for my daughter's uncertain future.

We hugged knowing we had to give into our daughters choices. They were grown adult witches now. We had to trust them and know it was time to set them free. We raised them to be bright, educated, and wonderfully well rounded independent witches. They will proceed into our wizarding world and muggle world with Malfoy and Granger honor...

Our worlds were busily changing before us. The girls were graduating from Hogwarts soon. Jagger and Phoenix's wedding was less than two months away.

Draco and I were about to become empty nesters. Alone for the first time in almost eighteen years. I was happy, excited, and a bit indescribably sad. Draco was ecstatic having me all to himself now, without the girls accidentally barging in on us again...

But knowing this next phase in our lives, that we started our little family, was about to grow into another legacy.

Draco and I began all of this that day here in the Ministry... twenty years ago, accidentally bumping into him on my way to The Quidditch World Cup meeeting... Marrying him... And following with conceiving Phoenix and Luxia in our tent at the Quidditch World Cup. The Ministry will always hold a special place in our hearts. It is what brought us to where we amorously stand at this very moment.

"Let the future begin together..." I declared with Draco cupping my face bringing my lips to touch his.
