Rays of sunlight banished through the curtains, causing the female that lay comfortably in bliss in her mass of blankets to stir slightly, a hand raising up to rub against her eyelids that her [e/c] orbs hid behind. The blaring of her alarm came in irregular beeps, alerting the girl that she needed to rise from the comfort of her mattress, resulting in her blindly swinging her limb out to pull a pause to the blaring alarm clock.

"Five more minutes.. urg.."

Running a palm blindly to the object that was spurring out noise, her hand resisted all its weight onto the machine and rubbed her fingers over her tired and sleepy eyes, before swinging her lower limbs over the side of her mattress. The sound of a gentle crack erupting on glass sounded throughout her private sleeping quarters, as the female glanced at the sheen of glass that protected her from the outside world, only to be merged with the rays of autumn sunshine glistening through the glass.

Once deeming herself a presentable image, the girl clutched her backpack and wrapped her locks of [h/c] hair into a stretchable band, tucking the strands of her mop of [h/c] into the band, while curling her hand around her bedroom doorknob. The sudden screech of nails against glass caused the girl to leap to her senses and she leapt into the air, spurring around in a circle like way, whilst she wrapped her hands around the straps of her bag, whilst warily eyeing the sheen of glass protecting her from the rays of sunlight.

The shade of navy blue entered her line of sight, causing the female to quirk her eyebrow up in her reaction to the newfound colour in her sleeping quarters. Tufts of ravenette came into view, as the girl tilted her head to the side in her blank confusion.

"Damn, you actually got up today?!" the onyx haired male tossed an ecstatic grin your way,  his cocoa orbs lighting up at the scent of a fluffy, bread based food content located into the kitchen downstairs.

"Uhm, Aiden? Why the hell were you coming in through my bedroom w—AHH!" You began voicing out your query as the dark haired boy clutched the vein indulged section of your wrist, tugging your form after his own, skipping down the multiple steps. Gripping your backpack with all your strength, you tore your wrist from the teenagers grip and stifled the petite giggle that was burning up in your throat.

"Anyways, c'mon! I think sis is making pancakes.." the boy gazed in awe at the sort that was pulling a halt to him stuffing multiple cakes of fluffiness down his throat.

"Still doesn't answer my question you douche.." mumbled the [e/c] pooled teenager, pattering her footsteps after the seemingly blissful male, who's genuine happiness seemed to radiate off of him.

Bounding in through the doorway leading to where the scent was, revealing a ravenette female stirring a pot with a substance held captive in it with a wooden spoon.

"Sup Kara? Ooh, pancakes!" The dark haired male hopped over to his sister, much to the girl's dismay, as she shelved the cooking device into the pan and bringing out the round, circular fluffy cakes, and placing them gingerly onto the pottery. A tiny, satisfactory smile etched onto her lips, as she separated her form from the cooker and whisked the piece of pottery to a significantly smaller form sat at the table, clutching her knife and forks in her hand eagerly mumbling 'yum yum, in my tum tum!'

"Here you go Aubrey," the said child chirped up at the sound of her name, as she clamped her two pieces of silverware onto the material of the tabletop, swishing her auburn locks around her head, a bright grin taking place on her features. Her sapphire hues lit up at the sight of the fluffy cakes on the plate, her minuscule palms etching out to fill the gap in her stomach with the sugary cakes. The onyx haired female glanced down at the seven-year-old, her own chocolate hues relaxing slightly at the sight of the auburn tresses girl giggling, and scoffing down the pancakes on the piece of pottery.
