Huffs and pants of exhaustion filled the atmosphere, as a set of cocoa tinted suspihues fluttered themselves closed in an attempt to regain some oxygen that they had previously lost out of their lungs.
"Remind me to never take gym again," the voice wheezed out, as a vacant hand began tucking ravenette strands of hair behind her ears, as you both began leaning your weight up against the wood of a tree, attempting to regain your breaths that had been knocked out of your system as you began running laps around a dirt filled track. "And to murder Aiden in his sleep. I mean, seriously, he made us take gym!" A groan of pure annoyance stifled past her lips, as you too made a voluntary moan of pain, as you stretched out your limbs in an attempt to regain any feeling at all in your arms.
"Let that sink in [f/n]." Setting the base of her palms onto her knees, she glanced up into your own [e/c] hues with her brown ones, as a look of disgust cane onto her face as she saw her sibling race around the track in utter bliss. "We did exercise. It's a class we take," her entire form began to shudder in mock disgust, then both of your features screwing up as a round of laughter bounded through your throats and stifled past your lips, as you rested with an expression that displayed your agreement towards her complaint.
The usual bell that rang throughout the school sounded then, signifying to all of the students that their school day had come to another end, resulting in a certain brown eyed ravenette girl to race into a set of double doors with you following behind her, heading towards your destination of the lockers.
"You have your café shift today?" She calls out to you, placing her needed key into the slot required to open up her locker, then retrieving some needed books and placing them in her backpack, you doing likewise.
"Yep. I'm covering up for some dude who bailed," a soft sigh escaped your lips as you shifted your weight and sling your backpack over your shoulder, then your palms gripping a plain, blank apron, with a petite name tag placed in the upper right hand corner, then releasing your key out of the socket and tossing it into your backpack, then beginning your walk to the café store that you worked at part time.
Pattering your footsteps down multiple amounts of steps that led you to a pair of freshly polished onyx coated gates, then trekking your feet down towards the direction of your part time job.
"So [f/n]," your best friend began, as she began tucking vacant strands of ravenette bangs behind her ears. "You got yourself a new boyfriend or what?" A chuckle tumbles past her lips as the last word leaves her mouth, but your senses start tingling slightly; an uneasy tone as laced itself within the petite course of laughter.
"I have no idea what you're talking about." The reply comes out blankly, as you twist your features up to a monotonous expression only to earn quite the amused grin from your best friend who was walking on your right side, her own limb hooked in your own comfortably.
"A little certain dude who plays basketball doesn't ring a bell? Or what about the boy who's jacket you still have?" Once the mention of a certain teal hued boy and a naturally nervous male, you could feel the blood rush to your cheeks as you attempted to hide the almost glowing crimson shade by placing your hands over your face gently.
"I ish no speak your languash," The female let a rumble of laughter stifle past the roils as it burned up her own throat, the tone of uneasiness still lingering throughout her chortles of laughter which soon died down. Peeking through your [s/c] digits with your [e/c] tinted orbs, you caught sight of the girl catching her lip between her teeth and chewing on it rather anxiously, causing you to crease your eyebrows in a worried like manner.
