Kid In Love

Shawn POV

I can see this girl in the Meet & Greet line. She's a little ways away but she is the most precious thing I have ever seen. Her smile almost knocked the wind out of me, I didn't want to ever look at her and not see her smile.

"Hi Shawn." I hear as this awestruck girl says walking up to me giving me a hug. I smile and hug back doing what I have to do for all Meet & Greets.

I do this a few more times before its her turn. I look at Geoff and mouth;

"Save this one." He nods and turns to do whatever he does.

"Hi." She smiles as she walks up.

"Hi there." I greet wanting to seem casual even though I am nervous as all get out.

"I made you this." She blushes as she hands me a book. I open it to a random page and realize its a scrapbook of all the tour and press stuff.

"Thank you so much this is amazing." I say setting it on a table off to the side.

"I'm glad you like it." She smiles and I lose focus for a second.

"I love your smile." I blurt out. Fuck did I just say that?

"Thank you, I think I'm in love with yours," She jokes. I blush and hear as the photographer clears his throat.

"How would you like to pose?" I ask pointing to the camera.

"Can we hold hands and lean our foreheads together?" She asks seeming embarrassed. I nod smiling, hoping to ease her feelings. I hold out my hands. As she takes them into hers I feel this spark flow through me. I don't know what it is but I can feel electricity between us. We take the picture and she looks up at me. I just look at her with this goofy smile on my face, I have never been this way with a fan before and its odd. I can hear the camera clicking pictures but I can also hear the grumbles from the line behind her. I clear my throat and move away.

"Geoff I think we should do an autograph because of this amazing book she has made me." I say looking at him with a look of plead. I want to get to know her and not have to worry about the rest of the fans wanting to get this treatment. He hands me a picture and a sharpie. I sign my name but then make a quick note and hand it to her. She looks down and reads the note and looks at me with disbelief.

"Thank you for coming." I wink at her and she walks towards Geoff. He looks at me confused and she shows him the note. I'm on to taking pictures with the next girl as she walks off with Geoff.

Meet & Greet ended and I head my dressing room. I run into Geoff along the way.

"Hey did you get the passes?" I ask.

"Yeah but do you care to explain what is happening right now?" He asks.

"I don't really know, all I know is that there was something that happened at her Meet & Greet. Some spark or something." I say running a hand through my curls.

"Well she has the passes, and was losing her mind." He said walking with me.

The shows over and now it's time for the special VIP access. Which in reality means I wanted to have some time to get to know this girl alone.

"Shawn your VIP pass is waiting in that room." Geoff points to this black door. I smile and make my way in.

"Hi" She stands up.

"No don't stand up I'm coming to you." I say walking over to the couch she was sitting on.

"Is there anyone else coming, I find it odd that no one else is here." She says looking towards the door.

"Here's the thing. I like you, and I wanted to have a chance to talk to you without the craziness. I made up this VIP pass." I say talking with my hands.

"Wow, ok." She says nodding her head.

"I know this is crazy, but when I met you today something happened. I have never had this feeling before. This is going to sound creepy but I was counting down the minutes until this moment right now." I said smiling. She blushed and looked down at her hands and then back at me.

"I am so glad you felt that too because I felt this spark when we touched today and I didn't want that to be a one time thing." She said laughing. I laughed too.

"I just wanted to get to know you better." I said resting my head on my hand, becoming completely comfortable with her. She did the same and smiled at me.

"What do you want to know?" She asked right before someone barged in.

"Shawn, we need you for press." Geoff said. I sighed and let my head hang.

"Ok give me a quick sec." I said nodding. Geoff walked away leaving the door open.

"Ok never mind." She said standing up.

"I wish we could run away right now that way we could talk for hours." I said grabbing her hand.

"I wish that too. You have no idea how crazy this is for me. Every single one of your fans, the Mendes Army too the max, has had a dream about doing this with you. I can not wrap my head around this because for some odd reason you have chosen me to do this with." She said letting go of my hand.

"I didn't quite choose this, It kind of happened and I didn't stop it." I smiled at her. She blushed.

"Well it was fun while it lasted." She said starting to walk away.

"Hey, wait. Can I have your number that way we can talk?" I asked. I didn't want to let her go. I was beyond pissed at Geoff.

"Sure." She smiled. We exchanged numbers and I hugged her before walking away.

I was half way down the hall before I decided, fuck it. I turned around and ran to her. She was walking the opposite direction.

Once I caught up to her she jumped as I touched her shoulder.

"Shawn?" She asked confused. I didn't say anything I just softly cupped her cheek in my hand. I then stared into her eyes and bit my lip as I slowly leaned in and kissed her. I pulled away taking a deep breath.

"Wow." She whispered. I blushed and she did too.

"I'll talk to you later." I whispered into her ear. I walked away in shock. I can't believe I just did that.
