Birthday Special

3rd person's pov

"Oh I cant wait!! Im so excited!!" She jump in joy.
"Slow down Pipes!" Jason called her as She skipped quickly. She slowed down and let him catch up. She giggled.
"I just cant, Jace! Its her birthday!" She said in a sing-song voice. He chuckled at her giddiness amd held the gift on his right arm as his left drapped over her shoulder.
"Im gonna make this the best bday evahh!!"
"Yah. But too bad he is not coming." He said and frowned. That made her face loose all the happiness inside.

Of course. He is not here. Nobody can make this her best birthday if he isn't here.

But even without him, he will always stay in their hearts. And make the birthday girl smile again. And she know what to do with it.

7 years. 7 years after the war of Gaea. 7 years of him gone missing. 7 long years of waiting. Still nothing.

Now, She's turning 24. Getting old huh? But not getting old with him.

She sighed as she stirred her coffee, watching cars outside. Its Saturday today so She has a day off from her work. All about Architecture of course.

She blew her coffee as she sipped it. She lives alone here at her house. It wasnt very far from camp and wasnt in the city too. So it was just right, as Goldilocks would say. Well, she doesn't really live alone.

Then, a German Shepherd came walking out of the living room. "Hey girl. Got a good sleep?" Annabeth asked her pet. The dog, named Lucky, barked happily as she walked closer and gave her owner a snuggle on her knees. Annabeth reached out and scratched her behind her ear, knowing she really likes the feeling of it. Lucky's fur was so soft that bet everyone would fall asleep on her. Her fur was as golden and beautiful as Annabeth's locks was.

Annabeth stood up and walked to one of the cabinets, grabbed the dog food and placed them all in Lucky's bowl. Lucky barked in delight. "Quiet girl. You might wake some neighbors." Annabeth said gently. She grabbed the water bowl and fill it with clean and fresh water.

Then, she heard a knock oh her door. She grabbed her dagger from the counter and walked towards the door, hiding her weapon from behind. She breathed in and out then opened the door.

"Woah! Easy! Not monsters. I swear! Want to proove it? Then, I could tell you all about myself. Im hot. Gorgeous. Hot. Did I say that already? Nah. Probably not." Leo held up his hands as he blabbers. Annabeth relaxed as she put her dagger down from Leo's throat.

"Happy birthday to you!! Happy birthday to you!! Happy birthday dear, Annabeth. Happy birthday to you!" A voice sang. She looked at Piper and Jason walking towards her door.

"Happy bday, Annie!!" Piper said and gave her a hug which Annabeth returned.

"Come in. Come in." Annabeth gestured to her door. The 4 of them went inside and sitted on the fluffy couch.
"So, where's Hazel and Frank?" Annabeth asked.
"Oh, they're coming. With Calypso. They have to... umm.. get something." Leo said. Annabeth raised an eyebrow, suspiciously.

"How 'bout we watch a movie?" Jason asked. Annabeth nodded and picked a CD from the shelf.
