I was walking to class with Elle. Wow she is really cute in a skirt. We are going to English and I am not looking forward to it. Mr. C is harsh. We walked in and sat down. "Now we will move into our Shakespeare unit." He said to the class. I groaned inwardly. I hate Shakespeare. I can't understand a word he writes. I try to translate it but it just doesn't work. My brain does not comprehend it. I look over to Elle. She looks so happy. She loves Shakespeare. I smile. If I have Elle in my class, it won't be so bad. "Now I know some of you are more well-versed in Shakespeare than others so I will pair a less experianced person wirh a more experianced person. That way we will get more done. So, who is well-versed in Shakespare?" Elle raised her hand. "James?" Mr. C asked. She cringed slightly at her deadname. "I have been in two Shakepaeare plays, read four others, and read a 300 page book about him." She said confidently. He smiled. "I will pair you up with Samantha then" Mr. C said. I cringed, but smiled. I was paired with Elle. This made me happy. He handed out Much Ado About Nothing. Elle's face lit up. "I was on this play in 8th grade! I was the lead! I got to faint onstage." She said happily. I laughed. "You are being so adorible right now." I said. She blushed slightly. Oh god the things she does to my heart. We opened our books. "All right class, read the opening scene between Leonato, Hero, Beatrice and the messenger until Don Pedro, Don John, Caludio qnd Benedict enter. Analyize and we will talk about? it." Mr. C said. The room was filled with hushed whiapers as stidents worked together. Elle turned to me. "So do you understand the first lines between Leonato and the messemgee?" She asked. I read them. "Nope" I said, completely lost. She smiled. "Ok" she said and recited the first lines.

She did different voices for the characters. "Still lost" I said. She smiled. "Ok. So, Leonato is the duke of Messina. The army of Messina is coming back from fighting and Leonato is close with a man in the army named Don Pedro. This is a happy scene because the winning side, Messina, lost very few people." She explained. "Ok. So it's just introducing characters." I said. She nodded. We continued for about 20 minuets before Mr. C called time. "Who would like to do the first scene?" Elle raised her hand. "We would!" She said excitedly. "You need to go with another group sonce it is a four person scene." He said. She looked around and saw Rhi partnered with Sarah, an artsy loner girl. "How about Rhi and Sarah?" She asked. They smiled and got up, we all went to the center. "Ok. Sarah, can you be Hero? She only has one line in this scene." Elle asked. Sarah nodded. "Rhi, will you be the messenger?" Elle asked, smiling when Rhi agreed. "I'll be Beatrice and you can be Leonato" she said, pointing to me. I nodded. We started the scene.

"Very good you four." Mr. C said as we finished. We sat down. "We will do more next class. You are dismissed" he said. Elle and I walked out. "That was interesting Elle." I said. She smiled. "I love Shakespeare." She said. We walked to our next class, me listening to her babble on about Shakeapeaee.

I have an accelerated theater program I'm doing rn and its takes up all my time. I only have mornings befor I leave and evenings before I go to bed to update. And I spend those getting ready or memorzing lines and songs. Please don't comment "more" or "update" right after I post. I appriciate that people like this book, but I need time. Thank you!
