"Weiss! I...I was studying and then I fell asleep, I'm sorry," Ruby said startled at the sight of Weiss. Weiss quickly put her right hand to Ruby's mouth and told her to shush. Weiss glanced over at the coffee mug Ruby must have been drinking out of earlier in the night and then said, "How do you take your coffee?" With a moments stuttering, Ruby said, "I..I don't..." Weiss not believing what Ruby had to say, stubbonly said, "Answer the question." Ruby, awfully loud and quick for the time of night it was, said, "Cream and five sugars!" All Weiss could do was sigh, roll her eyes and say, "Don't move." For what seemed to only be a few seconds, Weiss was back with a cup of coffee for Ruby.
"Here," Weiss said, handing Ruby the mug.
"Um... thanks Weiss..." was all Ruby could say, obviously gobsmacked. The room was silent for a moment before Weiss's face softened down and said, "Ruby, I think you have what it takes to be a good leader." Weiss stopped for a few seconds but continued with, "Just know, that I am going to be the best team mate you will ever have." Ruby was silent for a moment not knowing what to say but Weiss started up again before she had time to think.
"Good luck studying." Weiss popped her head down from Ruby's bed but no more than a second later, she came back up, pointed to Ruby's work and said, "That's wrong by the way," in an awfully cheerful manner. She then walked over to the bedroom door and opened it.
"Hey Ruby," Weiss started to finish,
"Uh huh?" replied Ruby,
"I always wanted bunk beds as a kid." Weiss shut the door and walked down the hallway, away from her dorm with a small smile on her face, hoping she had made some sort of friend.
Weiss was being as quiet as she could while she made her way to a roof area where she was to wait for a certain friend. It had felt like forever since she had seen him again, but felt like she was bound to get caught. What she was about to do was something that Weiss thought she would never do. Her friend didn't even go to the school. The things that could go wrong if they both got caught? How the hell was he even supposed to get into the school without being seen? "What am I thinking!" Weiss whispered to herself. "All you aer doing is breaking however many school rules... not that big of a deal... right? WHO AM I KIDDING!" Weiss's breathing and heart rate went up but it still didn't stop her from arriving at her destination.
As Weiss reached the door to the roof, she paused. "I can do this." She quietly opens the door but her heart sinks to find no one there. All of a sudden, a deep voice sends shivers down her spine. Weiss quickly closed the door and realised there actually was someone there. She got a fright from her visitor, but all he had said was, "You lied to me."
