Star's POV

After the picnic I went inside the house to get a camera so that I could remember this day

Well I went inside and I got the camera and came back out we took a few pictures and then we wanted a video of the little kids playing with me so then we put the stand thingy up and set up the camera

Then out of nowhere we were attacked...

But they weren't werewolfs they were .....vampires we werewolfs don't hate them but we don't like them either it's just ....complicated

Anyways they attacked all my friends first I saw it they did it right in front of me then they went to my other family like my cousins an murdered them in front of me to I cried I couldn't do anything because 3 people were grabbing me

Then they attacked my family well my mom an dad my dad fought to protect my mom and my mom fought to protect my dad but my mom died first then my dad screamed out in pain from the loss of mate.....hey where is my mate and my brother ?

Then all of a sudden the guards were attacked I turned around and saw my brother and his friends attacking the Guards then somebody grabbed my hand I turned and saw my mate he looked determined "come on I'm going to get u out of here" he said I nodded but then I shook my head "no my brother" I said still panicking "star go I'll be okay" my brother said I nodded and ran with my mate but then I heard a gun shot I turned to see who got shot and then I fell to my knees crying

The person who got shot was max ...my mate

I cried and cried but I needed to run so I got up and ran as fast as I could, but I wasn't very fast because I was crying so I was breathing hard and I just shifted so my wolf has no training

I felt a presence behind me so I pushed my self harder but all I got was a fall 'great'

I said to my self then I felt my arms be grabbed so I kicked around and screamed but then I remembered who is gonna come for me they are all died ....because of me

I knew the answer but I wanted to ask anyway "why are taking me?" I asked with my voice cracking at the end the guard grunted "u are the chosen princess the queen and king will explain " he said I cried silently but nodded then took my to their kingdom but by a portal?

We went through the portal and I felt so dizzy but the guard who I learned name is Carson caught me

He was nice but he didn't let me go "I'm just doing me job kid I'm sorry" he said like if he read my mind I didn't respond then finally we reached the kingdom, I started to cry again Carson let his grip loosen but still be tight

Finally we were inside going up stairs "look I'm going to bring you to your room okay" Carson said if I was like 3 "I'm not a kid and can't you just kill me?" I said sobbing at the last part he sighed "no but your a kid at this place and no you are needed here" he replied I stayed silent but my mind was going in circles what did he mean 'I was needed here'??
