A Double Concerto For Changkyun and Jooheon [Jookyun]

Chapter 1~The Beginnings

The cello resounded throughout the concert hall, the audience could feel the emotion, the feeling of love. The bow fought the strings to play out the passion, wits, and the sentiment. The low tone of the cello and the high tone of the violin reverberate together as if they were meant for each. As the piece ended, the older took the mic and faced the younger, "Changkyun will you marry me".

The sun shimmers through the opaque curtains of the cellist's room, his alarm rings, signaling that it was time for him to wake up and get ready for his practice. He knew that he had to practice extremely hard for this performance as one of selected few of the Boston Symphony Orchestra as they are traveling all the way to Korea to do a special performance with the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra. The cellist was excited as he would be traveling to the place he was born and he would be able to see his parents but he was more excited about the fact that he would be doing a special stage with his favorite solo violinist, Lee Jooheon.

Pink, orange, and blue dusted the sky as the sun was setting going under the fluffy clouds, the moon visible through the violinist's window. He was on his quick break after playing for 6 hours already.The violinist was practicing excessively because he was told he would be doing a special performance with no other than his favorite cellist, Lim Changkyun. Right before his break was over, his orchestra director called, "Jooheon, as you know, you're doing a special solo performance with the Boston Symphony Orchestra's principal cellist, Lim Changkyun" he eagerly nodded. "The piece you guys has been discussed with both orchestra directors, and settled with Brahms's Double Concerto for Violin and cello, you may go back to practicing now Jooheon". And with that Jooheon left.
