As my tears fall on the pages.
I know I've dealt with this for ages.
You think I can't comprehend.
That I don't understand.
Then you don't know me at all.
I've seen things, things that no one should ever see.
I've been with mom through everything.
So to say I can't understand.
To say I don't comprehend.
Is saying you underestimate me.
I've cried so much tears I have no more to shed.
I've felt so much fear.
You might call me dead.
I still have scars where you left your mark.
Mom still has scars where you broke her heart.
You hit me where it hurt.
You tore our family apart.
So now once again, we'll have to restart.
