Kiefer's POV:

"Good morning kids."

I just woke up at bumaba agad sa kusina at naabutan ang kambal na kumakain ng agahan, I kissed Althea's head at nagtaka kung bakit hindi naka uniform si Miguel.

Althea: Morning Dad

Kiefer: Miguel hindi ka ba papasok anak? Bakit hindi ka naka uniform?

Althea glanced at his direction while his jaw tightened and consumed the water on his glass.

Miggy: May game po kami ngayon kaya excuse po kami sa class.

Kiefer: Ngayon ba yun anak? I almost forgot, saan ba sa Xavier? What time?

Sumandok ako ng pagkain and grabbed a copy of the newspaper sa gilid ko.

Miggy: No Dad, ok lang. Andun naman sila Tito Thirdy at Tito Von. Baka may iba pa kayong lakad eh.

That stopped me from reading and sipping my coffee.

Althea: Migz...

Miggy: Seriously, sanay na rin naman ako. May driver naman ako diba, andun naman sila Tito and Lolo, Im cool with it.

Then he stood up and grabbed his bag sa sahig and kissed Thea's head.

Miggy: Bye Sis, bye Dad. Wish me luck guys.

Hindi na ako nagsalita and just watched him leave.

Alyssa's POV:

"Ok Peter, thank you so much, yeah I understand. See you tomorrow."

I turned off my phone and grabbed my cup of coffee and settle on the kitchen counter habang inaayos ang gloves ko, its the time of the year again na sobrang OA nanaman ng lamig dito sa Amerika.

I checked the time, sakto an hour before Miggy's game. I made a video call  at sinagot naman niya kaagad. I can see na nasa loob na siya ng dug out at naghahanda.

"Hey Mom!"

"Hello anak, ano nasa Xavier ka na ba? Nakapag stretching ka na?"

"Yes Mom, hinihintay nalang matapos ang 1st game."

"Best of luck anak, sabihin mo rin kay fourth and Matt na goodluck."

"Yes Mom sure."

"So how was school? Kamusta kayo ni Althea?"

"Ok naman kami Mom, no worries."

I sense sadness n his voice. Parang alam ko na kaagad kung bakit.

"Nandiyan ba ang Daddy mo?"

"As usual, wala nanaman. Busy siya sa Ally's."

He pretend to check on his shoes para itago ang mukha niya sa akin pero I know him too well.

"For sure hahabol yun anak, tignan mo mamaya andiyan na yun."

"Ok lang naman kahit wala Mom, andito naman palagi sila Tito at Lolo. Tyaka sanay na ako. Games lang naman ni Althea ang naaalala niyang panoorin, pero pag games ko ni hindi niya alam ang sched."

"He is just busy anak, for sure he is proud of you."

Miggy tara na! Someone from the background shouted na nagpalingon kay Miguel.

"Ay hi Tita Ly! Kamusta po?"

"Oh hi Fourth! Im good, please kiss your Mom for me ha and goodluck din sa game."
