I stare at him in bewilderment, thinking my eyes are playing tricks on me. I finally come to the conclusion that he was indeed real.

I can't believe the person who was supposed to interview me was Elias, of all people.

Elias!

Running into him twice in the same day? That can't be a coincidence.

I couldn't tell if I was excited or displeased to see him.

"Elias!?"

He ran his hand through his hair and each strand of hair fell perfectly back in its place. Oddly enough, the urge to run my fingers through his hair was surprsingly strong.

"Aubrey."

The way my name came out of his mouth was so passionate and full of meaning. He spoke my name like it was the mother of all names and deserved to be praised and worshipped.

How could I be so drawn to a man but be so distant towards him at the same time?

Let's face it.

Elias was undeniably sexy and he knew exactly what to say in order to draw you in. But at the same time, I could sense that underneath that facade of his, something sinister lurked.

"Did you plan this?"

I couldn't help but think of the possibility that he did in fact set this up after our encounter at the hotel.

I'm absolutely positive that he had something to do with this. Things like this don't just happen - especially to me. He may be sexy as hell but that's no excuse for stalking me.

Elias simply chuckled at my accusation and fiddled with his tie in the mirror that was standing in the south corner of the room.

He must be very serious about his image.

"You are smart as you are stunning, Ms. Freeman."

The way he says Ms. Freeman is so hot. I nearly melt everytime he says it.

He flashed me that devilish smile of his and I tried to keep myself from blushing.

"After our encounter at the hotel, I just couldn't keep my mind off of you. I was so distraught that I had to leave on such short notice that I wouldn't have the chance to see you again. Once I arrived back here, I spread word of a job opening and I figured you'd seize the opportunity - being that you clearly stated your financial needs quite loudly back at the suite."

He's a sneaky bastard, I'll give him that.

Elias walks over to me and places his thumb on my chin and caresses it.

His touch is so gentle.

"I was right."

He presses his forehead against mine and teases me with his sensual breathing. He slightly towers over me so his lips sit eye level to me.

I'm so tempted to just grab him by the face and plant a kiss on those plump lips of his.

They are so alluring.

His eyelashes brush against my forehead and my body trembles.

Elias is even more desirable from up close.

What am I saying?

I pull myself together and turn away from him - lengthening the distance between us and making sure to stand as far away from him as possible.

I will not give in to his seductive advances.

"What do you want from me?"

I asked the question that had been swirling around in my head ever since I met him at the hotel - which was literally three hours ago.
