Percy POV
"I'll miss you dearly, Mary. Take good care of yourself."
"Thank you Sir Perseus. I will try my best."
"How many times do I have to tell you to call my Percy? I believe we've known each other long enough." I chuckled and held Mary's hands in mine. The elderly woman needs all the help she can get.
"Of course dear." She said while patting my arm. "Now, you get on that ship of yours and join your mother and father. I'll be missing you, and be good to your parents... Have a good life in Spain Percy. I hope all goes well for you, and make sure to send this old lady letters before I die."
"Of course Mary. I will write as soon as I make it to my new home." I kiss her hand and say last minute goodbyes to the servants I was particularly close with before boarding the ship with my mother Sally and my father Poseidon.
My mother looked out over our old home and then addressed me. "Excited for Spain, darling?"
"Very much, mother." I gave her a goofy grin that I don't get to use much. "Where will we be staying? Didn't you say with the king and his family?"
The ship started moving, and my mother got tears in her eyes. "Y-yes. They were very generous to let us into their home. I believe they have three sons..."
Her voice drowned out as the waves crashed against the ship.
"I am going below deck mother the weather is too much for me. You should come down as well I'll bet father's already down there, snoring away." I took a slightly and my mother smiles at me.
"Yes, let's get some sleep. You can start writing letters in the morning and maybe converse with the captain. We should arrive around twelve or one o'clock."
I followed her down below, and bid her goodnight as i passed her room. The door to my room creaked, and inside was a simple bed with brown blankets, and a white pillow. There was a small nightstand next to the bed and my suitcase was atop it.
I slipped on my night clothes, and buried myself under the brown blankets. They were soft to the touch on top, yet silky on the inside against my skin. I sighed peacefully and thought, I can't wait to get to Spain... maybe there will be some gals I can court, and some good mischief I can get into with the princes. I wonder if there is a princess? I wonder...----------------
The Next Day 12:34PM
By this time, we could see the port, and were packing up our things. Luckily, this was a short ride. I heard that our captain gets seasick if he's on the water for too long. I wince at the thought of seeing him throw up today's breakfast, or whatever he had for supper last night. I shake my head to get rid of my thoughts.
Spain. Or more specifically, Madrid. I could see the royal family's palace from here, and I had to say it looked beautiful. I could tell I would like my life here very much. I rub my hands together. Time for a little fun.~~~~~~~~~~~~
