You get a text from your friend Miles. You guys met a few weeks ago, but it feels like a few years. We tell each other everything.
"Hey, wanna go get coffee or something later?" -Miles.
Uh, he knows me so very well.
" Ofc!"-Me
I drove over to the local coffee shop that we always hung out at. I stepped out of my car and walked into the store. I walked over to our usual spot that we always sat at. I spotted him immediately.
"OMG, hey girl hey!" he said jokingly.
"Girl you look so good! Did you get your nails done or did you do something new with your hair!?" I joked around with him.
"Okay enough with this crap, I saw that post with that Carl guy. What's up with you two, I also heard a rumor going around that you guys are having se-!" He said and I cut him off.
" No! Come on you know not to follow and listen to those dumb rumors!" I complained.
We had ordered our coffee and I got a French Vanilla Cappuccino and Miles got a caramel frappe. We sipped and talked about stuff and made jokes about the creepy old guy sitting alone in the corner. It was going great until I got a text from Carl.
"Hey, we need to talk. Meet me at my place."-Carl.
"NOW."-Carl.
"Okay Okay I'm on my way."-ME.
I looked over at Miles and gave him a sad frown.
" Sowwy bud." I said and showed him the text messages.
" Ohhh girl looks like someone has a demanding boyfriend!" he said and winked at me.
" He is not my boyfriend!" I protested.
I said my goodbye and drove straight to Carl's house. I parked my car and walked up to the door and knocked on it.
Carl opened it right away.
"Hey, what's up?" I asked.
He guided me inside." What's up is that you were at some coffee place with some guy."
" Wait, why are you mad?"
" I'm mad because your mine and only mine. No one else can have you." he said with his eyes full of lust.
With that, he crashed his lips into mine and we shared a passionate kiss. It got more intense but, for now, we kept it PG if you know what I mean.
I wasn't quite sure what we were like a boyfriend thing or if we were friends with benefits. I didn't know yet but, I didn't want to ask just yet. For now, I was just as happy as can be.
