The Sweet Apology

Kabeer does not know how to apologise. He has been looking for an opportunity to talk to Ananya, but she is not even giving him a single chance.

Last night's party's incident starts to play in his head, how Ananya insulted him in front of everyone. But he is not angry. He knew it was coming at some point.

In fact, he is a little happy, at least Ananya said something. At least she spoke something about him. Kabeer knows whatever he did was wrong, he should have trusted Ananya, but he did not. Now, he has to pay for this.

He has to bear Ananya's anger and ignorance. But for how long? Kabeer cannot see his Ananya like that. He needs to speak to her. He needs to apologise.

Kabeer knows she is Ananya Kashyap, she won't listen to him so easily, but he is also Kabeer Sharma. He does not have the word "failure" in his dictionary. If Ananya does not listen to him, he will make sure she listens to what he has to say, by hook or by crook.

Sitting on his chair in his cabin, he calls up Inspector Khurana as an idea strikes his mind. Kabeer informs Inspector Khurana about his idea and asks him to pay his role.

With a smile, Kabeer disconnects the call as he knows his plan will work 100%. Smirking, Kabeer crosses his arms over his chest while his eyes starts twinkling with happiness.

"Ab aap kya karengi Ms. Kashyap? Baat toh aapko meri sunni hi padegi!"

says Kabeer, confidently!

"Ye rahe wo..aap jo film jo bana rahe hain Reporter, aapke hero aapke samne hain!"

"Aapke hero..Kabeer Sharma in and as REPORTER!"

"Yehi hain asli hero! Journalism ki duniya mein sab ke hero hain ye jo kehte hain khabrain nasha hoti hain or hum sab nasha baichne ka dhandha karte hain!"

"Dhandha toh khoob karte hain sir! Har ek news, har story pe nazar rehti hai inki. Emotion ki koi jagah nahi hai"

"Haina?"

Ananya wakes up with a jerk and sits up straight on her bed. Her whole body covered in sweats. Her head starts to hurt really bad due to the hangover because of yesterday's drink.

Last night's party's incident starts to play in her head. She remembers exactly what she said to Kabeer. She is a little guilty, but she is not ready to accept her mistake that she shouldn't have said all that to Kabeer.

"Maine jo bhi kiya sahi kia! Or mujhe us ka koi afsoos nahi hai!"

mumbles Ananya

Reaching the side table, she pours some water for herself. Picking up the glass, she starts taking small sips of water when her phone rings.

Putting the glass on the side, she looks towards her phone that is on her bed. She notices the caller and gets surprised.

"Inspector Khurana mujhe call kyun kar rahe hain?"

Ananya questions herself.

She keeps staring at the phone for few seconds. Her heartbeat picks up pace on thinking about the reason for Inspector Khurana's call. The phone keeps ringing and Ananya finally decides to pick it up.
