A/N: Park Shin Hye as Dr. Song Miyeong 💕

. . .

It was the day before exam week when Hoseok Coghlan had to bring his seventeen-year-old sister Hana to the Hospital because of an asthma attack. He couldn't believe that it would happen this quickly after her arriving back to Korea.

It had been only three weeks.

„Her vitals are worrying me." Dr. Song spoke and looked at the still unconscious Hana on the hospital bed. „Her breathing sounds problematic. Even with the machine helping her." Song Miyeong, a young doctor and Hoseok's girlfriend, continued. „I don't understand why her vitals are so bad all of a sudden. You said she was completely fine yesterday?"

„Even this morning, Miyeong. This morning she was dancing in the bathroom and everything but tonight while studying everything seemed to break down and she had an asthma attack without doing any exercise or anything." Hoseok was clearly worried; walking up and down the small room massaging his temples while thinking what to do about his sister.

„It's not the first time that happens, Hoseok and you know it." Miyeong went over to Hoseok and gave him a quick peck on the lips. „She'll be better. I want her to stay a few days before she goes back to school. Just to make sure her vitals will go back up." Dr. Song said and gave Hoseok a reassuring hug before leaving the room.

Hoseok had met Miyeong at med school. She was a senior when he started studying medicine and they fell in love immediately despite their age gap. Now that Miyeong was a junior doctor Hoseok had put all his worries into her hands so she could help Hana the best way possible.

Hoseok sighed and sat down next to the bed his sister was sleeping in. „I'm sorry that you're suffering like this, Han." He started speaking English, hoping she could hear him somehow.

The next days Hana stayed in the hospital, doing tests and getting her vitals back to being normal. She hated herself for being weird and ill. And she hated that it happened during exam week. When Hana came back to school, pale and exhausted from the medication she had to take to make her vitals better, exam week was over and everyone was getting ready for the school trip.

Hana was sad she couldn't attend, but Mr. Lim told her that she could attend the trip when she managed to write all of the five exams on the weekend before the trip. If she declined that offer she wouldn't be able to join.

„That sounds tough, Hana." Soonbok had said after Mr. Lim left the classroom for recess time. „I know that," Hana answered and rubbed her forehead. „But I want to join the trip. I haven't been on a class trip since fourth grade!" She sighed. „I know it's going to be tough. Five tests on two days and", Hana took a break. „I need to try it, ok?" She asked and pulled out her books to study a little more. Soonbok watched her and shook her head.

The same evening, Hana was studying at her table in the living room when the doorbell rang. „I'll get it!" Hoseok yelled from the kitchen and went to open the door when he found three students in front of the door. „Yo!" Yoogeun greeted Hoseok who only cocked his eyebrows at the young boys greeting. „Hello, Hoseok-oppa!" Soonbok greeted and pushed Yoogeun, and Mark who was dragged along by Soonbok, into the flat.

The three teens found Hana studying in the living room. „Han, you have visitors!" Hoseok called out in English, making Mark smile. Just the thought that Hana was only speaking English at home made his insides feeling funny. „Oh!" Hanna gasped when she saw Soonbok, Yoogeun, and Mark standing in her living room.

„What are you all doing here?" She asked and Yoogeun made a peace sign. „We're here to help you!" He cheered and Hana chuckled. „Are you serious?" The Irish lass asked and Soonbok nodded. „The class trip wouldn't be complete without you!" Soonbok went to hug Hana and then sat down next to her best friend.

The four teenagers studied hard, helping Hana here and there. Hoseok helped them by feeding them his well-cooked dinner. Mark asked Hana questions about the English exam while Yoogeun asked her about History, what Hana lacked a little bit as she couldn't remember all the dates from the war. Soonbok was impressed about Hana's wisdom in physics though. She could say endless formulas.

Hours later the four teenagers were exhausted from studying and eating. Hoseok was already snoring on the couch when Mark looked at his phone. „Oh, it's nine. I have to go home or else Mum is worried." Mark stood up and gave Hana a thumbs up. „You'll do it! Fighting!" He cheered and left. Hana watched after him and blushed lightly when Soonbok and Yoogeun said their goodbyes as well.

„Thanks for helping me." Hana bowed and the other two simply shrugged. „You're welcome, Hana. I want you with me on the trip so that's why I'm helping you." Soonbok winked before she and Yoogeun left the flat as well. Hana smiled and folded her hands in front of her chest. „I can do it!" She told herself and looked at Hoseok who was still snoring. She shook her head and tidied up the living room, getting ready for bed herself.

. . .

Hana eventually passed the exams with a good result and was finally allowed to join the class trip to Gyeongju National Park. The day before the trip she packed all her stuff and took her inhaler and the SOS medication Dr. Song had prescript for her. This night Hana couldn't fall asleep properly as she was very excited for the trip with her friends.

And Mark.
