_____________

Five days has passed since the incident happened. Also, the headmaster's death. Even so, all the events already occurred but Atsushi couldn't forget the things that had happened...

Let alone move on.

"Atsushi-kun."

The sudden impulse on his senior's voice is what made Atsushi wake up from his little nightmare and back again to reality.

"A-ah, Dazai-san. W-what is it?" Atsushi stuttered, voice cracking a bit due to crying (screaming) a lot for the past few days. Especially when Dazai told him something important...

"We have a new mission~ So pack up your things and we'll be going after you're done." Dazai beamed while happily skipping away, not giving the poor boy a chance to speak and ask about the mission.

"Eh?! D-Dazai-san, what's the mission all about??" Atsushi panicked, not knowing what to do nor bring in the mission.

The mission could be ANYTHING. It could be rescuing civilians, solving crimes and finding out who the killer is, rebuilding broken relationships or even saving cats that are stuck on trees...

Wait wha-

"Atsushi-kun! Hurry up or I'll leave you alone in the cat litter!!" Dazai shouted, already at the door and preparing to lock it when Atsushi pounced on the door.

"wAIT DAZAI-SANNNNnn." Atsushi cried. He barely made the pounce right and halfway got his nose stuck between the door.

".... "

"Oh my, what a clumsy kitty you are, Atsushi-kun." Dazai snickered, looking at the now red nose of the weretiger.

Atsushi was clearly not impressed. His face shows nothing but the dull color of his yellow and wisteria orbs.

"Hah, how funny Dazai-san. " Atsushi deadpanned. His tone somewhat similar to those people that are already dead inside.

"Ah. Sorry." Dazai flashed him an awkward smile, not sure what to do since the young boy was looking at him with disgust.

"We should really be going now." His voice suddenly turned serious, making Atsushi shiver unexpectedly. Atsushi stood up and walked towards his superior, nodding to show that he's all ready.

"Good, then let's head to the train station now." Dazai turned around and walked down the stairs and into the busy streets. Atsushi following after.
