Tsuna had noticed a big change in his life since Reborn showed up, and he welcomed it with open arms. His mother could barely lay a hand on him now that Reborn was here, and the same goes for Hikaru. Though not for lack of trying. There were times when his bother had tried to steer away from the tutor and get Tsuna alone, but that proved harder than he thought it would be. Reborn seemed to be everywhere. And Hikaru wouldn't want him to find out about his true nature towards his brother.

Even with this welcome change however, Tsuna felt more and more confused towards his brother. At times it was like Hikaru was right there in front of him, with nothing but love to give his baby brother. He could see him, but it was like there was a thin film between the two. The film being Toki of course. But he still felt it. His brother had to be in there.

But other times, Toki's presence was so overwhelming and Tsuna thought his brother was really gone for good. He was terrified that the years as Toki had swallowed his brother completely and hed ended up becoming the person in front of him. The person that caused him so much pain. The person that caused his mind to deteriorate slowly, unseen.

But Tsuna chose the path of denile for now. He chose to enjoy the wave of change that was brought apon him. Yamamoto had even become his friend. It was mostly unexpected. The raven haired teen had actually talked with him at his desk before class, ignoring the questioning looks his 'friends' gave him. Because why would someone so popular want to be around someone like Dame-Tsuna?

Tsuna ignored the looks as well, but had a hard time ignoring the looks from his brother. It was obvious he wasn't pleased with this new freindship. But for all Tsuna cared, he could look all he wanted, because nothing could stop him from enjoying his happiness while it lasted.

Yamamoto Takeshi may be oblivious sometimes but he wasn't a complete idiot. Since he started hanging out with Tsuna at school, he was able to take a closer look at the boy. He noticed the times when he seemed to drift off sadly into his own head, and the bandages that seemed to peak through his clothes. It was hard for him not to ask Tsuna about it, he was his first real friend, or at least that's how Yamamoto saw him. So he didn't want to see him hurt.

His tboughts were filling his head and he could barely focus while he practiced in the batting cages. He'd think of Tsuna and his hidden bandages,

Thwack

He'd hit the baseball speeding his way and continue with his thoughts.

Thwack

He thought of how quickly Tsuna saw through his pained smile,

Thwack

and of how he looked laughing with tears pricking the corners of his eyes and how he spoke to him about his dilemma,

Thwack

and finally of how he thought there was hidden pain behind the flawless person that he saw before him at that time. It was almost like he could see Tsuna push away whatever was hurting him so he could just go another day-

His thoughts all stopped at once when he dropped his bat. The familiar noise of the ball hitting the metal bat wasn't heard as he realized he couldn't move his arm. The Thwack that he was expecting didn't come. and instead the ball throwing machine had thrown at him without carring if he was paying attention.

Yamamoto ended up on the ground in pain as people from other batting cages rushed to crowd around the now fallen boy, some were calling employees for help, while others just stood with hands covering their mouths.
