So, the question today is How can we move from defeat to victory?
Read Genesis 37,38,39.

Let us take the example of Joseph, the faithful servant of God. In Genesis chapter 37,38,39 when you read you'll find Joseph as a victim of jealousy, money and sexual harassment.

1. Victim of jealousy-
Jacob loved Joseph more than any other of his sons. Because of the loved his father had for him, his brother hated him. And when he had a dream ( I believe you all know about Joseph's dreams) and told it to his brothers they hated him even more.

Genesis 37:9.Then he dreamed another dream and told to his brother and said ," Behold I have dream another dream. Behold, the sun, the moon, and the eleven stars were bowing down to me. 10. But. When he told it to his father and to his brother, his father rebuked him and said to him, "What is this dream that you have dreamed? Shall I and your mother and your brothers indeed come to bow ourselves to the ground before you !" 11, And his brothers were jealous of him , but his father kept the saying in mind.

See, the roots of jealousy was growing in their heart. And they can't stand being around him. Jealously is evil and it's just a tiny seeds but it can grow to a big tree, So don't let that evil seeds grow in your heart. Now,will see where jealousy leads them?

2. Victim of money- (Joseph sold by His brothers?
Joseph as a victim of money, but how? This is all because the seeds of jealously is growing into the love of money where they didn't seems to care about their own brother.

So,When his brothers went to pasture their father's flock near Shechem and Joseph came later to the field. Before, he came near them they have no love for him at all and immediately wanted nothing but to kill their own brother. Jealousy runs in their veins.
Genesis 37:18 They saw him from afar, and before he came near to them they conspired against him to kill him. But, Reuben rescued him out their hands and told them not to take their own brother life but to throw him in the pit.
