Godly women

1 Peter 3:1-5
1.Likewise ,wives, be subject you your own husbands, so that even if some do not obey the word, they may be won without a word by the conduct of their wives, 2.when they see your respectful and pure conduct. 3.Do not let your adorning be external - the braiding of hair and the putting on of gold jewelry, or the clothing you wear- 4. But let your adoring be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quite spirit, which in God's sight is very precious. 5. For this is how the holy women who hoped in God used to adorn themselves, by submitting to their own husbands.

The above verse is sum as- Godly women fear the Lord, dress modestly, speak courteously and are subjection to their own husbands.

Let's stress on the bolded words.
-> Fear the Lord - God should always be our first priority ,then the rest will come later.  A woman who fear the Lord will fulfill the following points.
There are lots of points but today will stress on the bolded words.

1. Dress modestly : The dress that we are wearing must be respectful, because our body is the temple of the holy spirit within us  1Corinthians 6:19

If we dress provocatively, we can cause someone to lust in their hearts and that's a sin. Because if someone look at you with a lustful eyes he is committing adultery in his heart and only God knows about what's thee in our heart. Matthew 5:7-9

The way we dress matters a lot and our dressing must be pleasing to God for we were bought with a price , so let's glorify God in our body.

2. Speak courteously : words can hurt a soul , we should know to speak to others and sometimes because of our short temper words come out which later we might regret. Firstly, we must learn to control our anger
Secondly, with words that a woman speak it can either tear the whole relationship or build it up, it can either bring someone closer to God or push them over the condemnation cliff. God created woman not to drive people away from her but to be a helper in communication.

The difference between a worldly woman and Godly woman is that a worldly woman can manipulate, nag, gossip, reject and lie all with her sweet smile but a Godly woman speech was build to encourage , to correct and to draw people closer to God. So, as a follower of Christ we must watch how we speaks.

3. Subjection : A Godly woman shows submission unto her husband when she allow him to take leadership in the relationship. Submitting to her husband is actually submitting herself unto God. Ephesians 5:22

This may not be easy and it takes a lot of prayers for her to be able to subject to get own husband. They must work as a team.
A woman therefore doesn't submit because her husband deserve it but because she knows that this pleases the Lord.

A woman who fear the Lord, is beautiful inside out.
A woman who fear the Lord is a warrior.
A woman who fear the Lord is truly a blessings to her family.
A woman who fear the Lord, is a Godly woman.

You are precious in His sight and were bought with a price. Be a Godly woman as this pleases the Lord.
