The Skater: On The Streets

- Yia's P.O.V -

I looked at the doors of the high school dreading every step i took near them. I wasn't ready. No one was, summer ended way to soon. I sighed and walked to the door only for Matthew to jump infront of me like he is on a sugar rush.

"Woo!" He screamed throwing his fist in the air.

"Woah. Hold on there. Why are you so excited?" I asked holding my hands up like i was surrendering. He wraped his arm around me and led me into the school.

"You see babe. I was thinking about this school year and I'm go complete alot of teens dreams." He explained.

I raised an eye brow and looked at my schedule. My locker was 234 and my first period was science Mr.Ramble. i headed to my locker and Matthew followed me like a lost puppy. I turned around after getting out my science text book.

"Your dreams are?" I asked sarcastically and rolled my eyes.

"I'm glad you asked." He paused. "I'm going to be student body president, prompting king, join all the clubs, get all A's and B's, and join the football team."

"You know those are the people I avoid right?" I questioned.

"Yea. I'm showing skater, emo, and scene kids can accomplish popular kid stuff." He explained. I rolled my eyes and pushed his head away as the bell rang.

~ time skip ~

- lunch time -

I didn't eat. I never eat school. I just walk the halls. I saw Matthew talking to the popular kids Kai, Lee, Jack, Madison, Gwen, and Kiki. Matthew was laughing along with everyone else. I felt my heart sink as Gwen rubbed his thigh and he did nothing about except turn to her and smile.

"Oh hell no!" I shouted. The whole cafeteria went silent and stared at me.

"Ms.Yia principal's offic, NOW!" Mrs.Olsin shouted across the caf. I headed to the front office. My hands were shaking and my eyes were watering. I didn't let tears spill out.

~ time skip ~

-Mr.Tanner's Office-

"It is the first day Yia. You're already in trouble?" He questioned. Me and Mr.Tanner know each other very well. I get sent to the office all the time for cussing and being a smart mouth.

"Yea. Mr.Tanner cut me some slack it is the first day. Can't you start giving me I.S.S in the second week?" I asked crossing my hands on his desk. He sighed and smiled.

"Yia, me and you are very good friends so, I'm going to let you off easy. Next time tomorrow you're getting I.S.S understand?" He asked. I nodded. "Get back to lunch."

"Bye Boo!" I hollarded. He smiled and shook his head.

"That is Mr.Tanner to you Yia!" he hollard back. I waved as I headed out of the office.

-last period-

I sat infront row of the class. Math was my worst subject luckly it is the last period of the day. I sighed and laid my head on my palm. I spaced out until the bell rang.

"Ok here is your homework for today." Ms.Smith said handing me some papers and everyone else. I sighed because I wasn't listening the entire class period.

I walked home ignoring Matthew. Everyone else left me alone naturally. I got home and Matthew was on my porch I turned aroud and headed to Twitch's house then stopped halfway there, Matthew lives across the street.

I sat down in the middle of the road and broke down in tears. I couldn't go anywhere. Me and Hip aren't friends anymore, Matthew lives across from Twitch, and he is at my house. I suddenly felt someone behind me.

"Hey." I turned around and couldn't believe my eyes.
