Ocean Blue

Chapter 3- Washed Ashore

I gently pick the women up and take her back to my car to take her to the hospital. The rain still pouring down I get into the car and buckle my seat as I start the ignition and drive to the emergency room.

Finally I arrive and ask for assistance of a nurse, she gestures for me to place her onto a bed.

"So what happened exactly?" Question one of the nurses with a clipboard in her left hand.

"I'm not sure I was on the beach and I just found her there."

"Oh right so I'm gathering you don't know her name either?" Asks the nurse as she places a drip into the women's hand.

"No as I said I just got to the beach and found her there." I say as I stare at the mysterious women.

"Okay, I'll get a doctor to have a look at her, she has a cut on her head so she probably has a concussion."

"Oh alright, when will she wake up?" I ask as I sit in the chair next to her.

"She should wake up later or maybe tomorrow, as I have said I'll get a doctor to look at her."

"Okay, thanks." I say as I get up and bow to the nurse and slowly sit back down.

I wonder who this women is? Why was she washed up on the beach like that I wonder.

Soo Young POV:

I slowly open my eyes when a big light shines in my eyes. I quickly close them back and place my arm over my eyes. I look to my left to see a strange machine that I was connected to. Then it came to me. That storm and the strange objects flowing towards me.

I decide to sit up when I start to realise something. I quickly swing the covers off my body to find not a tail but to legs.

I must be on land.

As I sit up I notice a man sitting next to me, I look down on the floor to see he has legs as well. Maybe I was washed up onto the mainland, this was all to confusing. Carefully I move over to where the man is sitting and start staring at him, I got to admit he was pretty cute. The man opened his eyes and is staring right at me making me fall back onto the floor.

"Oww" I shout as he rushes over to me helping me back into bed.

"Shit are you alright?" The man says as he reaches his hands out as I take them.

I don't say anything and thankfully accept his hands. They are really soft.

"I'll get a nurse."

I keep quite and look at the machines I'm connected to, after awhile the man and a women comes over I'm guessing she's the nurse.

"Hello I'm nurse Ann and you had quite a deep cut on your head, we had to stitch it up." Says the nurse as she checks the long pole I'm connected to.

Confusingly I look around, so this must be the mainland but how did I end up here?

"Miss... what's your name?" Asks the nurse as she finishes checking the strange pole connected to me.

I just look at her, and then back at the man standing next to her.

"Well now your in save hands I'm going to go." The man says as he starts leave.

Quickly I grab his arm as he stops in his track and stares at me.

"My name is Soo Young."

Me and the man engaged in what seems to be a forever staring competition.
