I'm Just The Nerd

Chapter 5

I put my phone beside me and lean against the tree closing my eyes. I then hear a branch near by being broken. I open my eyes and look around, I didn't see anything so I closed my eyes once more and then felt a hand on my knee.

I open my eyes to see the hand and look to see who it was. It was Daniel, my heart starts to beat faster as he looked into my eyes. Daniel smiled slightly and then sat next to me. Daniel slowly put his arm around me pulling me into him. 

Me being scared and not able to speak just let it happen. I eventually was leaned against his chest. I wrapped one of my arms around his waist slowly and then he tightened his grip around me. I pulled him closer to me for some reason.

I felt safe. Almost too safe with him.

"Tyler, I'm sorry." Daniel said as I let go and looked at him.

"I never wanted to hurt you.... Or make fun of you.... Or do anything to hurt you...." Daniel said as his teary eyes looked into mine.

"What are you saying?" I stutter out and try to avoid his eyes.

"I.... Uh... Um..." Daniel said as he took his arm from around me and I sat up.

"What is it?" I asked as I decided to look into his eyes.

"I have to go." Daniel said as he got up and left.

I got up and went after.

"Daniel" I said louder than I've ever said anything.

Daniel turned around and walked up to me so fast I got scared. Daniel then put his hand on my neck and pulled me in and kissed me. I being shocked only slightly kissed back. Daniel pulled away kissed my forehead and left.

"What the bloody hell just happened?" I whispered to myself.

I got out my phone and texted Ava.

Ava Blaine is one of my fans but, she's always been there for me to talk to if I need to vent. She always made me feel somewhat better.

(T- Tyler, A- Ava)

T- Hey Ava!

A- Hey Ty-Ty!

T- Are you busy?

A- No not really. What's up?

T- Daniel Howell kissed me. 

A- Shut up.

A- No way.

A- You gotta be kidding me.

T- I'm not. It literally just happened and now I'm going crazy.

A- Wow.... Do you like him?

T- He's my bully at school... I never really thought of him this way.

A- Did you like the kiss?

T- Idk. I barely kissed back because I was so shocked.

A- Well if you are shocked he would kiss you, you might like him.

T- Confession.

A- Uh-oh. What is it?

T- I mean I have thought of Daniel before but, he's dating Andrea. I don't really think about him like that ever since I found out.

A- I knew it. I knew it! Dyler will be real!! I've always shipped it!

T- Lol. Dyler? Well, I have to go. I got to drive home. I'll be live later tonight, will you be there?

A- When am I not there?

T- There was that one time you weren't on for a whole week.

A- Hey! I told you. You said it was all good in the hood.

T- Lol. I know I was just messing with you.

A- Oh Tyler. Lol. Ttyl.

T- Later Av!

A- Bye Dy- I mean Tyler. Lol.
