I'm Just The Nerd

Chapter 6

Daniel's POV

What the hell did I just do? I kissed Tyler. The nerd. The nerd I really like. What is wrong with me? Why am I being so nice to him?

I walked back to the bench where Andrea was sitting and sat next to her taking her hand into mine.

"What's wrong?" Andrea asked.

"Nothing. I'm fine." I replied showing her a fake smile at her.

She smiles back and leans her head on my shoulder. I start to think about what happened with me and Tyler.

I flinch jumping out of the bench and running as Andrea calls my name. I see Tyler walking to his car.

I pause for a moment watching him tap on his phone. I decided to walk up to him.

"Hey Tyler!" I said and smiled.

"Hey Daniel." He replied nervously while looking down and I sigh.

"You can call me Dan you know we are friends after all." I said putting a hand on his shoulder.

"Really?" He asked as he slowly looked up.

"Really." I said smiling putting my other hand to his cheek.

Tyler stares into my eyes and, then a small smile starts to form on his lips. I bite my bottom lip just a little bit trying to resist.

I feel myself starting to lean in when I hear Andrea call my name. I ignore her and kiss Tyler passionately but slowly.

Our lips together start to move in perfect sync. I pull away once I hear Andrea stomp away.

"Why are you doing this? Is this some kind of joke?" Tyler asked me.

"Does it seem like a joke." I asked.

"Yee, it does because you've made my life miserable." He said angrily.

"Well it's not. I gotta go." I say and kiss his fore head "love you." My eyes widened and Tyler surely heard that.

I clear my throat and walk away. What did I just do......
