I stood still in the back of the shattered, run down store. A light still running but flickering by some electric sparks flying from the wires. I looked around before the the store went silent. I took the chance and ran towards the nearest shelf where a can of beans sat. Just before snatching the can a blur ran past and removed it from its spot with a screech. Ashes rest under my feet and a few screams fill my ears. I take another glance before I think.
