I slowly sit up, blinking. Stupid sunlight. It's seeping through my curtains, making me annoyed.

I was having the best dream; one where there was no school. Damn. Why couldn't that dream carry through into real life?

Rubbing my eyes, I reach over for my phone and unplug it. For twenty minutes, I aimlessly scroll through my instagram feed before getting up and padding over to my window. Johnny's curtains are still closed, meaning he's sleeping in. I look at my clock which tells me it's now 8:30. Uh oh. If I don't wake him up soon, he's going to be late.

Devising a plan, I grab an old pen off my desk and throw it softly against the window. I giggle to myself when it makes a bang noise.

Seconds later Johnny opens the curtains, looking wild. As he's only wearing boxers and socks, my eyes get attracted to his chest.

Holy shit.

I definitely haven't seen him shirtless for a while, but my eyes seem to like what they see. He's perfectly tan, his skin is glowing and his eight pack still exists. As he pulls up the curtains and opens the window, I force my eyes away from his rippling muscles. Damn.

I seriously must have been upset the other night when I hugged him if I didn't notice how hot he's become. Is that from basketball? Maybe I should play basketba–

"Morning." He yawns, and I fight to keep my eyes level with his.

"Morning sleepydrawers." I say lightly, unsure whether he'll be pissed at me for waking him up or not. He smiles the tiniest bit back at me.

"Did the boogie monster steal your shirt?" I ask with a voice full of amusement.

"No. I sleep like this, but since I normally wake up before you, I have time to put a shirt on." He explains, and then grins. "Why, you like what you see?

Not wanting to make him even more full of himself, I give him a coy grin.

"I've seen better."

His grin gets wider, and I hear him make a comment– something along the lines of "I've seen bigger boobs."

"John!" I shriek, laughing. "I can't believe you just said that!"

He throws his head back and laughs, but I can't help wondering; who?

Lauren then picks this exact moment to walk into Johnny's room– giving us both weird looks as she moves to stand next to Johnny.

"Hurry up, you two cuties are going to make me late!" She says condescendingly.

My nose wrinkles, smile faltering.

"Cuties?" We question at the same time, and then crack up laughing.

"Ha ha, very funny." Lauren says again. "Now hurry up!"

I close my window again, still laughing. That was an interesting start to the morning.
