What I Call Winning

Linda's POV

I pulled my phone out of my purse to reveal my phone with a text message from hazel. It says. It's time darling and I know exactly what she's talking about. I glanced her way to be only welcomed with a huge grin. That goofy one. The one that tells I know everything. I relaxed myself and text hazel back telling her to get out of my sight because she was making me more nervous. I see Dylan leaning again the left side of the bathroom door currently texting someone on his phone. I was on the right side of the bathroom door. I saw him putting his phone back in his pocket and I finally got the urge to say hi. It sounded weird and a bit too low enough for him to hear.

He glanced my way first taking in my appearance. I felt like I should have brushed my hair again or put on some perfume since hazel and I were here about 3 hours. He finally spoke and his voice turned out to be very manly and sweet.

"Hey". He said

That's when I realize i was out of words. Yes I am Linda who always gets out of the words when she's talking to a guy and in this case this guy is just not some guy but a boy who I have a crush on. To fill the silence after an exchange of hi hello he spoke up.

"Enjoying the party?". He asked

Should I say yes or should I say no. If i say yes he will think I'm having too much fun to not bother him after saying hi. If i say no he will think I'm someone who has a bad life. Who doesn't enjoys and doesn't like his best friend's party even through his parties have everything you could imagine. I needed hazel help.

"It was going well until I got stuck here" I said pointing the people behind us wanting to go inside the bathroom.

He laughed. "You here with somebody?" He asked

"Yup. I have my friend she's downstairs I got like 50 messages from here. She has no patience".

" I can feel your friend's pain. Though this house has like 10 bathrooms but they are all occupied because of tons of people in this party"

"Yeah this place is too crowded. They are a lot of people I don't recognize from school."

"I know. Its like tony invites people and those people invite more people and that just goes on"

"Oh cool". It wasn't cool but that was the only thing I could think of.

"So what was your name you told?"

"I never told you my name" I said smiling.

"Ohh. Then I would like to know it". He said grinning

That when the bathroom door open to reveal some aged guy he looked like 30. I wonder who let him in. I entered the bathroom. Closing the door before saying my name loud "LINDA".

Dylan's POV

She called her name out before closing the door. Linda was cute but she was too shy or didn't like communicating much with people. She was pretty and I liked what she was wearing but she was not my type. I saw tony approaching me and cleared my head with her thoughts.

"What the hell man! You took forever. why are you even here?", He asked me

"I'm here to pee", I answered

"I know you are here to pee you asshole. I'm saying didn't I told you to use my parents bathroom when its party at my house. That's why I gave you the key to their room", He says

"I forgot it home", I told him

"Well you missed the sweet game I played with Steven. I won over 10 and Steven had 8 goals. Man I loved his face when he lost."

"Oh cool. Bet you can't win foosball with me" I said

"I'm on it for 100 dollars" He grinned

I was in a intense game with max. I already won my first game with tony and he had to give me 100 dollars. I was so on to win this game too. We were on 9 to 9. One more and I will win the 200 dollars bet with max. The ball was near the goal. I was about to hit it when I heard Justin whilst and say "lady in red". It caught my attention and I turned to see a very attractive and beautiful girl in a red dress. I haven't seen her before. She was heading for the door. She was leaving this party. That when I realize I already hit the ball and max had it too close to his goal and he hit it and He won.

SHIT.

I lost this game. Max expression was priceless he was over joyful. I lost the game but I didn't regret losing it because I saw her and finding her again is what I call real winning.

I have loved Selena since my childhood. I really liked her wizard of wavely place Disney show. I have a great weather here in karachi. It was raining today and I went out to seaview Mc Donalds.
