Waterpark (Pt 2)

You screamed all the way down. You got out the bottom to meet Shayne.

"That was actually pretty fun! We should go again." You told Shayne. "Yea! But we have to wait a little bit for everyone else to go. Wanna just sit by the stairs?" He replied. "Yea, sure." You said.

You both sat on the bottom step and talked for a bit. You realized how fun it was to hang out with him. Just sitting together being real, cracking jokes, and having deep conversations. You thought back to what Courtney said earlier, about you possibly liking Shayne. You weren't sure at this point.

Shayne paused, looking at you, smiling. For a few moments, time seemed to stop. It felt like there was nothing but you and him, just looking into each other's eyes. Shayne looked down. "We should probably head up now." He said. His cheeks were red, and you felt yours heat up too. He got up, and you felt a weight lift off your hand. Had his hand been on yours the whole time? You hadn't even noticed.

"Race you to the top!" You said, running up the stairs past him. He ran after you. There were way more stairs than you remembered. You got to the top first, only because you got a head start. You both collapsed on the floor when you got up there. You and Shayne lied there for a minute, panting and laughing. He got up and helped you up.

David looked over at Shayne. "Is your face red from running up the stairs or from something else?" He laughed. You both laughed too, but his comment only made your faces redden.

After you both went down a second time, you walked back to where everyone put their stuff for some pizza. You had (favorite pizza). Shayne had a pizza with pepperoni on it. Once again, you and Shayne had a chance to just sit down, talk, and just have a great time together.

Not long after you both finished, everyone had to go into the wave pool. Shayne was lucky enough to find a two person tube, which he shared with you.

Everyone had their chance to do their truths and dares, and soon, it was your turn. You chose dare, and you had to do synchronized swimming by yourself. It went pretty well. Next it was Shayne's turn.

His dare was to kiss the nose of the person to his right. Luckily, you were to his left. The person to his right was Ian. "Hold on a minute," Ian said. "Shayne and (Y/n) are in a two person tube! It should just be a rule that he has to kiss her nose!" Everyone agreed except you and Shayne. Joven just stayed silent.

You closed your eyes and let it happen. Shayne closed his eyes a little bit too early, and ended up kissing you on the lips by accident. You both realized what was happening and your eyes flew open. You both pulled away, and everyone 'awwed'. Except Joven, of course.

Both of your faces were red for the rest of the video. Finally came the group dare. You both did lap dances to the tube, and they turned the on waves in the pool. Shayne fell off the tube and dragged you with him.

You opened your eyes underwater to see him already looking at you, smiling. He moved closer and closed his eyes. You already knew where this was going, so you closed your eyes and leaned in. It was a sweet kiss. The best you've ever had? Maybe. Was it a long time coming? Maybe. Did you love Shayne? Definitely.

It felt like a scene from a cheesy movie, but it felt nice regardless.
