Fury stood in an empty hallway, thinking about who her next target should be. The only Flammas left besides Phantom were the triplets, and they usually hung out together with their three other friends, River, Raven, and Dusk.
Fury tapped her chin. She could find a way to get Discord away from the group, deal with him, and then take out Coral, leaving Eris as a sort of 'best-for-last' sort of situation.
Suddenly, the young woman heard something. It sounded like a little girl's voice. Fury walked down the hall and peeked through an open door. A little girl with purple hair appeared to be talking to herself. Unless... Was she talking to that plant?!
Fury raised an eyebrow. This kid was crazy than she was! Fury remembered Phantom had an odd little sister like this girl named Eris. Fury smirked, and after a short puff of smoke, she looked like a girl about the other little girl's age with brown faded to orange pigtails and light freckles. Her eyes were still red, but she looked like Eris' sister, Coral.
She walked into the room. "Eris!" Her voice was close to Coral's, but not quite. "Eris, come quick! I just saw Tulip, Marigold, and Lily! They've all been stabbed!"
Eris looked over her shoulder. "They have? Oh no! Where are they?!"
The girl gestured for her to follow her. She turned around to leave the room and nearly walked into a sword.
The real Coral looked pissed. It was a bit scary, Fury had never seen Coral angry, especially not this angry. But the girl was also, like, nine, so Fury simply smirked, and with another puff of smoke, she was her normal self. Coral raised the sword towards the lady's throat.
Eris stood up and walked over to stand next to Coral. "You can't fool us, Fury. You can't fool any of us. Stop trying."
Fury giggled. "Oh, please, Lovies."
Coral's glare turned fiercer, and she pressed the blade a little more into Fury's throat. "Don't call us that."
Fury rolled her eyes. "Phantom and Tulip are the only fun ones."
Coral's sword disappeared, and the young girl gasped. "How did you-?!"
Fury smirked. "Magic, of course." She kneeled down so that they were eye level with each other. "Coral, Lovey. You're cute. You always underestimate my power."
She stands up and walks around them, towards Coral's blindspot. Eris watched her.
"You know, I've been waiting for this day for a while." She smiled and placed her hands over her heart, twirling. Eris and Coral glared at her. "Phantom's wedding. I always knew I'd have an important role, I just always thought the important role would be the bride." She sighed.
Coral raised an eyebrow. "And what's your big important role?"
Fury looked at the girls. "Why, my role is the Wedding Crasher, of course!" Fury giggled.
"Pfft! I could defeat you." The look in Coral's eyes said she was faking her pride, which made Fury laugh.
"You? Defeat me? Oh, Lovey, you're half my size, less than half my age, and although you're stronger than you appear, your skills are still..." Fury disappeared, reappearing almost before she even disappeared. She was kneeling directly behind Coral with a hand on her shoulder and a knife in her other hand, aimed at Coral's stomach. With a quick flick of her wrist, Fury dug the knife into Coral's stomach. "Questionable."
She giggled as Coral cried out. Eris reached for her sister, but something stopped her. Eris was thrown across the room, towards the window. She hit the wall instead, wincing as she did, and Fury let Coral's body fall to the floor.
Eris was seemingly glued to the wall. She felt helpless as she watched Coral fall. She heard a ringing in her ears, and faint laughter. Tears streamed down Eris' face, but other then that, she looked calm for someone who was pinned up against a wall.
Fury looked over at Eris. "I could turn you into a game!" She giggled.
"But you won't..."
Fury raised an eyebrow after hearing Eris speak. "Oh, I won't? And just why is that?"
Eris hung her head. "Because, games are slow. And you know you don't have very much time left. You know that they'll be rushing around, looking for Discord, Coral, and I, if they don't look for Phantom first. They'll recognize the pattern. One of them might recognize the knives. They'll be looking for us, and then they'll probably help hunt for you."
Eris hoped they wouldn't help hunt for Fury. She hoped they'd all just hide from her. She hoped they'd be smart, and run. She hoped that they wouldn't look back.
Fury nodded slowly. "Well. You make a good point." She went to leave the room.
Eris looked up. "You're going to leave me? You'll risk the chance of getting caught? Fury, what the Hell...?"
Fury nodded. "Yeah. Because I know you. You'll follow me. You won't go to get help. You'll try and get revenge on me alone." Fury giggled. "And as pitiful as that is, it works for me!" She left the room, giggling. Eris could hear her footsteps as she walked down the hallway.
