Zayn.

I hear the glass shattering as every window there is in the suite blasts due to the force of the bomb, along with every other thing there was in that living room.

Luckily I had enough time to push the cart away from the bedroom, saving the back part of it on the right, right where we crashed.

Skyler squeals at the sound of the glass shattering, and I hold her tighter.

Exactly one minute after it went off, I stand up and make sure there is no one here, I put my hand on my waist to reach for my gun, but I remember that I don't have it. My back hurts a little, and I have a bruise on my arm, but it's nothing I'm not used to.

My head snaps behind me at the sound of a movement, I'm expecting an attack. But it's only Skyler. She stands up with a terrified expression. I notice a cut on her forehead, she must of got it when we crashed to the floor.

Her eyes travel to find an exit, but then she looks at me.

"Wha.. What.." She tries to speak, but no actual words come out of her mouth.

I have no time for this, I need to call Arthur and get my stuff to leave, I have no idea what's happening, and I don't like that.

My first instinct is to get my pants that have my gun hidden in, I quickly put them on along with my shoes.

"Hide behind the closet, and don't move until I come. Quick!" I hiss at her, she stares at me, confusion and fear filling her eyes.

"Where are you going?!" She whispers.

I'm not sure if she's worried I'll ditch her, or if she's concerned about me.

"I'll be back, just do it!" I try to keep my voice down, she nods and rushes to hide behind the closet.

I made sure she doesn't see my gun. But when I get out of the room, I take it out and switch the safety off before pointing it ahead of me, ready to shoot.

My feet hit the floor filled with broken glass, scattered all over the living room. I ignore all the broken stuff I'm crossing, and focus on making sure every corner is clear.

The kitchen is also clear, in bad shape but clear. The ringing of my phone suddenly makes me jump, I even almost shoot.

Cursing under my breath, I put the phone to my ear and support it with my shoulder.

"Zayn, what the fuck happened? Are you hurt?"

"Jason called, he ordered me breakfast and asked them to make Skyler deliver." I tell him, I have absolutely no clue why he would make her bring it up. My head swims with thoughts, first the following, now this?

"She's with you?"

"Yeah, I told her to hide in the room."

"You can't stay there. You need to get out, now." He says as I check on the hallway from my door--which blew up by the way-- also clear.

So he just dropped a random bomb, and wasn't aiming for a fight? He didn't send any men, this isn't how he works.

"Is there a car down?"

"Yes, your car is down. But it's crazy down there, you need to slip out with no one noticing. And take Skyler with you, she's in danger. Now go!"

I sigh and rush to the room, searching for Skyler. My breathing stops when I don't find her, and I race to the hallway after snatching what essentials I need, to find her struggling to run.

"Skyler!" Her head snaps back, her eyes go wide and she starts running even faster, but her wounded leg which I just noticed isn't helping.

I extend my arm to stop her, but she jerks away and falls to the ground.
