(Over 4K!! Thank you guys!)

Skyler.

"So you've never used a gun, have you?" Micheal asks, twirling a pistol in his hand.

"No." I reply flatly, lying straight to his face. I'm not exactly 'lying', I'm just not telling the full truth.

"You sure about that?" He looks up at me, raising an eyebrow.

He wouldn't know.

"Pretty sure."

"Alright then, we'll be working on your gun skills--well, creating ones." I roll my eyes, "And some basic defence techniques."

"Only that?" I ask, confused.

"Well, we're not turning you into a professional spy, babe."

"From what I heard, I'm being chased by professional criminals, babe." I mimic.

"So?"

"So, you're supposed to teach me more than just some 'simple defence techniques', Micheal."

He laughs, "How funny it is, that you think we'd actually let you step into whatever dangerous situation that would happen. Let the professionals do their job, hun. If anything, you should be thankful, we're protecting you."

"I don't need you protecting me. I didn't ask for any of this, you know." He's starting to piss me off.

His doubtful stare lingers for a second before he speaks again. "You've never met agent Mia and agent Jack, correct?"

What is he even...ugh, let's just go with this.

"Correct."

"Hm, so you know nothing about their past?"

"I don't."

"Nor about where it is?"

"Where is what?"

"You perfectly know what I'm talking about."

"Excuse me?" Is he suggesting that I'm hiding something?

"Never mind." He claps once, standing up.

"No, I do mind, actually. Are you accusing me of hiding that thing they're after?"

He licks his bottom lip, "A question is not an accusation."

"Maybe to you." I snap. "If I did know anything about whatever the hell that thing is and why it's connected to me and the people who gave birth to me, trust me, I wouldn't be here."

The 'Elixir' seems to be a very... lets say interesting object to those after me. I'm positive it has to do with my 'parents', therefore it is connected to me. But that does not mean I know anything about what it is, or what it is used for, or where it is for that matter. It's crazy how professional criminals are haunting me down like animals assuming I would know where the Elixir is.

"Oh really?" He takes a step forward, tilting his head to the side.

I stand still, "Really."

He smirks, "You truly are your mother's daughter."

My face falls, "You-"

A door suddenly opens, cutting off our conversation. Zayn's tall figure appears, our eyes lock for a second before he diverts them between me and Micheal. I notice how his fists clench a bit to his sides. I look at Micheal and realise how close we actually are. Cringing, I take a step back.
