Chapter 12: The Grand Master (Part 2)

*LONGER CHAPTER*

Genji held your hands tight as he glanced at the sword then back to your eyes. Staring into the visor, you felt comfort. It almost seemed like you could see through his visor straight into his eyes. A smile crept its way onto your face, then immidiantly went away when you saw through your periphial vision dark clouds forming in the night sky...and swarming around you two fast.

Genji also saw past your head to the sky to see the clouds as well. They clustered up and grew violent as lighting struck the ground around the two. You became worried and nervous, and genji could sense this. He looked back at you then grew startled as you both watched another bolt of bright lighting stike the ground feets away from you. Your breathing became heavy as you started to panic. You looked back towards genji hoping he would have an awnser for all this but, only to detect that he was just as tense as you were.

The sword you were holding began to glow bright red, it was so bright almost blinding. The lightning bolts that cornered you had nothing compared to the brightness on the sword. A roar exploded from the center of you both, and you both stood in awe as the diety itself emerged from the sword and flew into the air like a rocket flying mac speed into the air.

The Grand Master Dragon...

Genji's eyes widened at the sight of the massive being. Your eyes starred deep into the majestic creature as it flew into the clouds and back down again. Flying around in the air, you could sense that it was happy it was free. Your eyes reflected the sight of the being in the sky like a mirror. Both you and genji's eyes followed the dragon flying in circles getting lower and lower to the ground. It finally stopped as it's massive head centered itself to your stature.

The tension between the three was  like nothing they've ever experienced before.

It stared deep into the soul of your being, almost judging you...

As you stared back you examined all of it's features, it's scaly exterior, a snout that seemed like the size of two cars, the horns massive and long portruding from the top of its head. It wasn't 'physical' at all, completely spiritual. Massive was an understatement of the being....

You felt so scared yet, so drawn to the being. You fell entranced by the being and still had a sense of thought left as you took a step towards the being. Genji watched as you walked with hesitation. For you it was a compeletly differnet being but, it felt like you were looking into a clear pond.  A pond that if touched ever so slightly, it would ripple tremendously. The pond representing the similarities between the being and you, the ripple representing the differences.

You took another step closer, without hesitation it roared a mighty roar. Startling you, you took a huge step back almost tripping, and accidently pushing yourself into genji. Genji stumbled back a little but, through that push genji could feel his own hold on his dragon slipping. The dragon of the north shot out from genji through his back and flew upwards. It was almost that step backwards that the dragon had caused wanted it to happen to make a connection flow through you to genji, so it would force the north wind dragon outwards.

The Grand Master dragon flew upwards with it and intertwined with the green beast. Both flowing like a fish swimming up stream and circling each other with passion. You both had regained your balance and watched as both dragons stopped and met each other at the nose.

You and genji began to feel the synergy between the two deities. Overflowing with emotion, the strongest feeling you both could feel.....was freedom. You smiled at the feeling as the emotion grew stronger and stronger. You could feel the shakles that were once chained to your ankles and arms were removed. You and the dragon....were now one.

You looked intently at the two dragons high in the night sky and radiated your most brightest smile. A smile so synpathetic and encouraging, genji couldn't help but, sense your happiness as well.  He began to avert his gaze off the dragons and onto you as he watched you stare deep into the connection the two beings were having and he couldn't help but feel....the same connection.

You looked back down at genji sensing that genji was staring at you. Your expression turned from concern as you looked back down to him to yet, another emersive smile. Genji couldn't help himself as he began to move his visor towards your head and place his forehead onto yours. You closed your eyes and embraced the moment as much as you could with the ninja. The connection you felt with the dragons that once was distant, was now flowing into your body and through to genji.

Your grip on the sword was more relaxed now as you unclenched one hand and had it swoop around genji's neck wanting to keep genjis head there. As you embraced more of the masked cyborg, you could feel his arms snaking around your waist and gripped it ever so gently. You couldn't help but, smile even bigger and chuckle. You two were so locked in your moment you didn't sense that the dragons were now flowing freely through the air but, were in perfect synch with one another. They flew in a wave like pattern almost as if a warrior equiped with a sword would practice training, feeling the sword as if it was an extention of his arm. The dragons finally begun to decend as there mouths opened up plumeting downwards onto you and genji.

You looked back up at genji who decided to do the same, and felt uneasy yet relaxed as the dragons engulfed the two and dissapeared within the two souls that are now... connected as one...

At that moment, the dark clouds that were residing over the base disspersed without a trace of its existance and everything fell quiet.

"Well....that was something....wasn't it? ha" You tried to mutter out.

"Indeed" Genji felt a little relieved after all that.

As the two of you were about to remove your hands from one another, you felt the sword in your hand turn to ashes.

"*gasp*" You raised your hand up between the both of you to see ashes falling through the spaces of your fingers.

"What happened? I'd figure that i was supposed to utlize that weapon, right?"

"Because you are not yet bonded with the being."

You didn't quite understand yet, you could feel the dragon within you gaining its presence and company. What more could you be missing?

You shot genji a confused look, "The dragon has just found a new home, it takes some time for one to settle in and get to know its surroundings. With that i aslo believe that you will not be able to call upon the dragon until it is ready."

"hmm..."

"I am not even sure how to even call upon the dragon when you are ready..." Genji's stare travled right as he gathered his thoughts.

"So how do you supose we find out how to call it when i am ready?"

A subtle pause was introduced as he held his stance for a moment prepping an answer.

"My father...wrote a journal all about this mysterious being, long ago. He was fascinated by it and was the one who told us the many stories about it. Maybe....he kept the awnser in one of his journals..." He moved his everlasting gaze and concentration back towards you as you were looking at genji with equal intent.

"So that brings up another question...how do we find this book?"

"The only place it could be at...my home in hanamura."

You closed your eyes and smiled slowly moving your head down, you were never one to turn down a perfectly exciting road trip.

"Perhaps, we can go after your testing tomorow?"

You looked back at genji who was now enticing you on wanting to go even more.

"If it means a road trip and a means to make me even tougher..sign me up dragon boy." You winked as you walked past the ninja. He gasped as he watched you move your finger from the base of his chin forward to the edge of it then flicked it off. You smiled at the now blushing genji, you couldn't see it but, you knew it was happening. You walked backwards towards the base with a smile on your face and your heart on your sleeve.

Knowing you were playing with him he smiled back and played along with, "Hey! I am not the only dragon boy you know! You are also a 'dragon boy' as well now!"

You both laughed as you made your way into the base getting ready for bed.
