THIS CHAPTER WILL BE WEIRD WITH THE SETTING BECAUSE I DON"T THINK TELLING WHAT OUR MAIN CHARACTERS, WHO END UP IN DIFFERENT PLACES THIS CHAPTER, ARE DOING THROUGH ALL OF THIS SHOULD BE IN DIFFERENT CHAPTERS. IT WILL START OUT WITH THEM TOGETHER THEN IT WILL BASICALLY BRANCH OFF. I WILL LET YOU KNOW WHO IT BEFORE I START THAT PART OF THE STORY BY DOING this> -------(CHARACTERS IN THIS SETTING).
--------(ALL MAIN CHARACTERS).
The smurfs entered the village. Papa led the way, Hefty close behind with Destiny in his arms, followed by Brainy. Everybody stopped what they were doing and stared at them. Willow stepped forward followed by Blossom and Stormy. Papa couldn't look at them. Smurfette pushed her way through gasping when she looked at her sister. She ran towards Hefty only to be stopped by Lily and Melody. They Smurfs parted as they continued walking towards Destiny's mushroom.
Willow stared at Papa. For the short time they've known each other she has only seen him like this when Smurfette saved them from Gargamel. She couldn't help but feel a little broken inside. All the smurfs went to their mushrooms, leaving everything they were doing where they dropped them. Sighing Willow followed them and went to Destiny's mushroom. She knocked on the door.
"Who is it" Hefty called from inside.
"It's Willow."
"Just a second" Hefty hollered. A few seconds later the door opened up. There stood Hefty. For once he looked weak.
"Come on in Willow. Papa will be back shortly."
"Thank you" she sighed. Willow looked at the bed. Destiny laid there motionless. Brainy sat by her side never looking away. Willow looked over at Hefty. "He's really shaken about this isn't he" she whispered.
"I wouldn't be surprised if he is. If she wasn't hanging out with Smurfette, Papa, or me, she was with Brainy. They enjoy each other's company" Hefty whispered back. Just then the door opened up and Papa walked in.
"Oh Willow. I was looking for you."
"I came here Papa thing" she joked making Papa smile. She smiled at the sight of him happy even for a little bit. It was one of the first things she said to him when they first met.
"Well Willow if you would like to, can you help me with Destiny's leg?"
"That's why I came" she smiled walking over to the bed. Together they unwrapped and took off the make shift splint. Then they put an actual splint on and wrapped it up and for extra measures they slipped a brace around her leg. They gently lowered Destiny's leg on to a pillow. Through that whole thing Destiny stayed asleep.
"Hefty can you do me a favor" Papa asked turning to Hefty.
"Anything Papa" Hefty stated standing up.
"Will you check on Smurfette?"
"Yes Papa" Hefty said almost running out the door.
"Brainy" Papa asked a little tired.
Brainy looked up tears in his eyes "Yes Papa?"
"Why don't you go to your room and get some rest."
"With all do respect Papa I'm not leaving her side."
Papa sighed, "Alright than. You can stay here. Just please get some sleep okay?"
Brainy nodded his head as he looked back down at Destiny. Papa and Willow walked out the door.
--------(BRAINY AND DESTINY)
Brainy stared at Destiny. She looked so weak and helpless. For once, he didn't understand what was going on in his head. "Destiny I don't know if you can hear me right now but I don't care I have to say this" Brainy sighed taking a breath, "Destiny I don't know what to do right now. I don't feel very smart without you. I feel helpless as I see you laying on the bed not moving." Tears fell from Brainy's eyes, "We do everything together. Please whatever you do Destiny, don't leave. I would miss you to much. And Destiny there's one more thing I have to say. I-I-I love you Destiny." Brainy, now shaking and not doing great breathing and crying at the same time, lowered his head and closed his eyes falling asleep beside Destiny.
