Should I tell her?

I'd been dying for this moment

Dying to feel her kiss, her lips against mine.

Dying to let her know...

I moved my lips from hers and onto her neck, gripping her waist .

Enjoying her light moans.

I was so hungry. Hungrier than I'd ever been, hungry for her.

My hands were eagerly but gently exploring her frame

"God you are so sexy..."

I roughly pulled her closer to me, hungry for more.

I needed MORE.

She let out a small moan as my hand slipped into her pants.

Eager to explore her wetness, eager to taste...

I laid her on her back and started trailing my lips down her stomach.

Planting soft slow kissing all the way down to her sweetness.

I spread her legs and.... she called my name?

"Nadia.... HELLOOOO. Girl WAKE UP!'

I opened my eyes confused.

"Huh? What time is it?"

"Noon! Now getcha lazy ass up girl we got shopping to do."

I groaned and put a pillow over my face.

"Now." Elise said gently tugging the pillow off of my face and throwing the blankets off.

"You're wasting daylight girl, move. Chop-chop." She said playfully clapping her hands.

I groggily rolled out of bed and headed towards the bathroom to shower, "I'm coming, I'm coming." I said sleepily. "I'll be out in an hour."

I emerged from the bedroom dressed in baggy khaki jeans, a white crop top, and tan Fenty by Rihanna creepers. My short curly hair was wildly gorgeous atop my head. I wore no makeup but a little mascara and some lip gloss. I was ready to go.

"Finally." Nadia said, rolling her eyes playfully.

I looked up, actually seeing her for the first time.

Wow, I thought, she looks damn good.

Nadia was dressed in fitted high top jeans with an orange tank top that she wore tucked in with a brown belt around her waist. Her hair was pulled back into a tight ponytail and she wore a matching orange hat that read "STOP STARING AND SPIT IT OUT."

It was likely she was wearing the hat to send a message to the many men that would gawk at her today, but still, how ironic.

"You ready to go?"

"Yeah," I replied. "Let's get out of here."

Later that same day

"So, I guess I asked you the wrong question."

Nadia said biting into her burger.

We'd roamed around town going to different thrift shops and boutiques for the past five hours, then decided to stop at Burger Joint to get a bite to eat before heading back home.

"Huh?"

"When I asked you about the boys in California.... I guess I should've been asking about the girls." She replied with a nervous laugh.

"There was one girl, but uhm... it didn't last."

I'd dated one girl on and off in California, Tanya. She was amazing, sure. But she was no Elise.

"Oh, why not?"

Because she's not you

"We just grew apart I guess." I said awkwardly, I scanned the room then looked back to meet her curious gaze.

"Nadia, is there anything you want to tell me?"

"No.... why?"

"You've just been acting kind of weird since I picked you up from the airport, is something wrong?"

I took a deep breath.

Should I tell her?

"I just-"

"Will that be all for you today?"

I looked up, it was our waiter.

"Yeah, that's it." I replied, slightly annoyed.

"Well here's your check, you two have a nice day."

I opened the book and threw two twenties inside.

"What were you saying?" Nadia asked, her eyes wide with curiosity.

"N-nothing." I stammered. "It's not important."

"Oh." Nadia replied "well alright."

"We should go."

We stood up and made our way towards the door.

Stupid, I thought to myself, that was your chance and you blew it.

I've got to tell her sometime, my thoughts continued, and I will

I promised myself. After I've figured out what to say... after I've figured out how to say it.
