Someone Like Me

You are my lighthouse

You save me from the storm

I can only slay my dragon

Because you are my sword.

We are together

Even when I'm all alone

You've taught me things about myself

I would have never known.

If I didn't know you

I wouldn't know me.

If it wasn't for you,

I simply couldn't be.

You are my water

When I need a drink

You are my safety net

When I'm at my brink

I know it's hard

To deal with someone like me

I just want to thank you

For saving someone like me.

You let me get crazy

And know when to calm me down.

To see you smile is the only thing

That can wipe away my frown.

I am impossible to love

Easy to pass by

I know I get complicated

But still you try.

If I didn't know you

I wouldn't know me.

If it wasn't for you

I simply couldn't be.

You are my water

When I need a drink

You pull me through the war

That exists in my heart

I know that you are with me
