Today I found myself

Thinking of you

Remembering random memories

And keeping myself occupied

And then I glanced at the grimy window

And saw a face unrecognizable

By a single feature

A smile as wide as the sea

And as genuine as the summer rain

And I thought to myself,

How crazy I must be,

To randomly be smiling so broadly

And then I remembered

What I had been thinking of

Who had taken over my thoughts

And given me reason to smile
