"What's that for?" you asked as Ratchet picked up another tool to continue working, the mech sighed in annoyance then explained.
You stood right above him watching with interest, Ratchet was fully annoyed with the questions you had been asking for the past hour what was this for? what was that for? It was grinding his gears. "Y/n will you please?" he asked and you frowned, "sorry for being curious" you grumbled and walked off, "I'm surprised you humans have interest in cybertronian medicine" he exclaimed throwing his servos in the air, "well I guess some of us might surprise you Doctor" you replied emphasizing the doctor part. You and Ratchet took a moment to stare each other dowm, both sides were going to stand their ground.
Ratchet grew annoyed and waved you off, you were just as annoyed. You headed topside leaving the bot to his work, it was the simple curosity killed the cat but Ratchet seemed to have something against you. Maybe letting him cool off would help, you knew he was right though because it wasn't often someone had any interest in his work. Miko got bored too easy, Jack spent most of his time with Arcee and Raf was always studying; It was a good thing everyone else was out on a drive......

Ratchet was on the "computer" it you will, he was scanning for Decepticon activity, and you quietly sat on the couch; He had noticed your return but chose to ignore it. "I'm sorry" you spoke and the statement caught Ratchet off-guard, he sighed.

"I presume I should apologize as well? This does not make us friends however" he pointed out, "I wouldn't have it any other way, Ratchet" you replied, Ratchet had to give you credit though.

You seemed like Miko but with a little more common sense and I guess that was fine witg him, you stood nearby still curious about his work, technology was a mysterious thing in most cases.

"I was a volunteer at the hospital, I understand human medicine not cybertronian" you pointed out, he glanced sideways; "I know about the human nervous system and the respitory system" you added.

"I don't know what you are talking about" he commented and you smiled, 'Time to teach the teacher' you though.

"The nervous system controls the body functions such as breathing an the heart, it helps regulate pain from an injury until cells can repair the damaged part" you began taking a breath to breathe, "how does it do that?"

"Neurotransmitters in the brain" you replied with a shrug then moved to the other topic, "the respitory system helps us breathe by removing CO2 and pulling in oxygen" you added.

Ratchet seemed curious and less annoyed with you, now that you've proven to understand medicine you aren't completely confused, "they cybertronian "body" if you must works similar but with different systems" the doctor began.
