The streets was bustled with people rushing about blabbering about the military tension between the countries. But Erin couldn't care less, she just wanted it to be over. She wanted everyone to make peace and be friends. Obviously that wasn't going to happen. Once a war had started, Erin knew it wasn't going to end anytime soon.

Erin walked around the stores , time after time she heard different gossip. She already had enough. People saying that it would start here, but that didn't make sense in Erin's mind. This was a small village, and that was all. How could world war 3 start in a small village like this?

Her parents had left her at a young age and she lived with her grandparents, who mostly shouted at her. Erin wasn't usually always home, it wasn't a safe place for her. But the usual times her grandparents made her come home for something to eat. Erin couldn't never get away without being screamed at. The tears everyday made her stronger and more happier to be around the village. Erin's grandparents never told her how her parents died. She just got told when she turned 10 years old.

Sweat dripped of Erin's forehead as the sun blazed on the small village. She stood staring at the sky as planes fly across twirling and circling the sky as the sun settled into the distance. That meaner only one thing. She had to return home again. Erin had to face the fear, she was strong and her power wasn't going to make her knocked down again. She strolled back as the bells rung as the shop doors slammed shut. The village was quiet and peaceful for one time in the day. Erin took a deep breath and stepped inside her house.

The smell of the alcohol and cigarettes flew straight up Erin's nose as she entered in the living room. Flys circled the left open pizza boxes and the tv buzzed. The mess was usual, her granddad would never clean up and would never let grandma do it either. He liked the smell of it my grandma said. But Erin always thought, how?

Erin rushed upstairs to her clean room and shut the door. Carefully, she got out her electronic little flip phone and slid under her bed with her headphones. She started playing a little game on Her phone. Which kept her playing for a hour. But she didn't hear any sound from downstairs

Where were her grandparents?

She decided to head down to the border, ignoring her forgotten grandparents. Spies, that's what she liked to play. Spying on the military was the local game, everyone enjoyed it and she was no exception.
