Leslie's POV

"LESLIE!" Joker called.

"Yes, Joker?" I said as I leaned on the doorway of his office.

"HARLEY!" He called.

"Yes mistah J?" She replied as she walked into the room.

"Everyone, I have exciting news!" His booming voice exclaimed.

"Oh boy not again..." Harley mumbled.

That's one thing I agree with her on. Not again. Please no not again. I never agree with Harley. She isn't very smart. Like at all. I'm basically the smartest one in this Steel Mill even though I hate being here. But, since I'm the daughter of Joker and Harley Quinn, I can't leave.

I can't leave yet because I'm too young. A few more years, and I'll be more capable.

Ethan, Joker's right hand (and my only friend), knows I want out and understands why. My parents are crazy! And Harley is even more insane than him! Which everyone thought was impossible to be more insane than The Joker. But after all,  he did create the Clown Princess of Crime.

Ethan has trained me in a much more tactical and efficient way. Unlike how Harley and Joker are training me. I wouldn't know hand to hand combat if it weren't for Ethan. Just some nonsense that clowns taught me.

"Oh shut it Harley." Joker replied.

Harley just crossed her arms and put on a pouty face. She looked like a toddler. I had to hold in a laugh.

"So what IS happening?" I asked. I was genuinely curious.

"Well, I'm glad you asked! Considering that this is about you! I think I have come up with a perfect plan to get rid of Batman, and YOU will be joining us this time instead of hiding here!" He exclaimed.

Another one of his stupid plans I thought. Great.

We never have been (and I hope we never will be) able to kill Batman. Even though I was raised by loonies doesn't mean I have to be one. Ever since I was little I rooted for Bats, his sidekicks, and the GCPD despite the criminal perspective teachings of wrong and right I got throughout my entire childhood.

"Now both of you, come here and look at this." He motioned for me to come over.

I hated his plan. This one was even more awful than the rest! He was going to try and kill Robin. I knew I couldn't let that happen.

Now, he explained my part of the plan. My part was simple, I would hide behind the action, monitoring things and making sure everything was alright. But that's not all I was going to do. I was going to save the Robin and escape. Now was my chance.

Then, Joker said after the Batman disappears from that sadness of losing one of his own, I will, "Come out of hiding for all of Gotham to see." I knew they were going to Arkham after they killed him. And I would be going, too if I didn't save the Bird and get out.

I know I need to do this.

And I know exactly how I'm going to do it.

Hope you enjoyed the chapter! This first one is obviously very short, but I wanted this to be a bit a of prologue not a complete chapter.
