"Did your mom say anything about last night?" Harry asked while having one of his hands in his pocket to get something. Apparently it was a cigarette. The cigarette was in his mouth as he was covering them to lit it up.
I didn't know he smoked? Normally I would hate when people smoked right infront of me, but he made it so attractive and the way he blew all the smoke out of his mouth....
Okay emily, back to reality!
"No, luckily." I said and turned my head to the other side to look out of the window.
His phone rang and my head quickly turned to Harry.
"Hello?"
I could hear a man on the other line this time, and it made me curious.
"Alright, thank you." He ended the call.
"Who was that?" I asked and tried to look careless.
"No one important." He just answered.
I looked back outside and saw the school not too far away. We were almost there. The school was huge and you could see it from a distance.
He parked the car and we both got out of the car. The wind blew, whipping my long hair back. I shivered slightly as the cool breeze touched the uncovered skin of the top of my chest and neck. I grabbed my jacket and as the jacket touched my skin, it warmed me in seconds.
"My first class starts in minutes, I gotta go." Harry said and it took me seconds to register his words, and as I took a second look, he was already gone. I was standing there and didn't know what to do. My class started in 40 minutes so I needed to do something until then. It didn't take me long and I started walking into the school. The halls were filled with students, walking around confused, and it made me more confused. They were walking around and a girl almost pushed me on the floor. I felt relieved, when I saw the cafeteria sign. As I entered the cafeteria, there was more people.I took a seat in one of the tables and sat. I could feel many eyes staring at me and I felt slighty uncomfortable.
"Look who's here." A blonde girl said and I realized it was Bethany.
She took a seat across me and placed her bag on the floor.
"What's up?" She asked.
"Not much actually." I said shy and not even making eye contact.
"You said you weren't gonna be near Harry," My eyes quickly looked up.
"He's gonna break your heart soon."
Why the hell did she keep coming over to my table, just to talk about Harry?
"How do you know that?"
"Well, I heard that he once dated this girl and when he broke up with her, she never showed up again. People think he killed her."
Harry kill? I couldn't imagine him kill anyone. At all. No.
"I don't believe that." I responded too confident.
"Well, that's your choice, but don't come up to me and tell me I was right."
"We're not even dating." I said to her.
"Sure." She said and stood up. She took her stuff and then walked away.
She really needed to stop talking to me, because I was getting slighty annoyed.. . .
Time flies. It was already 3pm and I didn't really want to work, but luckily, there was still 2 hours till I had to be at the store. I felt like my life was going in a circle. The same routine everyday. Wake up, school, work and home. I needed to do something in my 2 hours freetime.
My thoughts were everywhere, when I remembered that I got an email not too long ago.
A dancing club! I took my phone out of my pocket and started asking Summer for the address and time.
I immediately got an email back. From: Summer
Hey Emily! Glad you emailed back! It actually starts in a couple of minutes, so you need to hurry!I closed the email and then got another email of the address.
I took a quick look at it and started walking.. . .
I entered a small building and I heard music. I opened a big brown door and 20 eyes were immediately on me.
One of the girls waved at me and walked towards me. She had short brown hair and looked sweaty. Her t-shirt was orange, and pants were black, and as I saw her outfit, I remembered that I didn't take extra clothing with me.
"You must be Emily!" She said and greets my hand.
"I'm Summer." She said.
She took my hand and followed me closer to the ten other girls that were dancing. She stopped the music and cleared her throat.
"This is Emily everyone, and she is our new dancer!" She said and let go of my hand.
I awkwardly waved and leant my head close to her ear.
"I don't know if I can dance, and I don't have extra clothing." I whispered. I leaned back again and her head turned to me.
"Don't worry, we have something you can wear and you're gonna learn it! But if you don't wanna dance today, you can watch and then see if it's something for you!" That sounded a lot better.
I gave her a nod and walked over to one of the few benches, where another girl was sat.
She gave me a smile and I smiled back. As the music started they started dancing. The dance moves made me a little uncomfortable as their hands were touching a lot of private parts of their body. Watching them dance made me feel as I was in a strip club or something. I awkwardly looked away and I could feel my phone vibrate. As I looked at the screen, I could see Harry had been calling me 5 times. I got a little worried and made my way to the bathroom. I picked up the phone and I could hear his voice almost yell.
My heart jumped and I immediately stopped him.
"Harry!" I yelled into the phone, making him stop yelling.
"Why the hell didn't you pick up your phone?" He questioned.
"Why are you so worried? I'm not 5, I can go where ever I want." Since when did he became my boyfriend?
"Where are you?" He asked.
"Somewhere." I said and ended the call.
I putted my phone back in my pocket and got back to the hall. They were all taking a break and Summer ran towards me.
"Where did you go?" Summer questioned almost breathless.
"Sorry, my mom called me asking where I was, so I told her." I responded.
"Alright! So now you have seen our dancemoves, do you still want to be a part of it?" She made it sound like she had asked a thousand, but none of them had said yes.
"I-" my mouth had it difficult to form the words.
"I get it, I get it." She interupted dissapointed.
I felt slightly bad for her, and I couldn't stop myself from talking.
"I'll think about it." I said with a smile that made her smile too.
She jumped up and down in happiness and gave me a hug.
"Thank you!" She said.
I greeted her one more time and took my bag as I walked out of the building. The sun was shining as I took a step outside, and there was still a little wind. I saw a fimiliar black vehicle and ran into one of the stores next to the dancing club. Apparently it was H&M. I looked at all the outfits and shirts and I just wanted to buy it all. I saw a beautiful red dress and it was exactly my size. I took it down and walked into one of the dressingrooms. I immediately took all my clothes off and putted on the red dress. It made me look taller and skinnier and I just wanted to buy it.
I quickly putted on my outfit and had the dress in my hand.
I gave the cashier the money and walked out of the store.
I felt proud that I could finally call the dress mine.
As I looked around for the black vehicle it wasn't there. My eyes quickly saw a fimiliar girl on the other side of the street. It was Stacie.
