Chapter 2
I was walking home and making my thoughts float everywhere. The school wasn't actually that bad as I made it sound. I took my headphones from my bag and put it in my ears, right when The 1975 started playing, I started to relax. I just love them so much and it always makes me happy to listen to their music. I was still walking until I hear a car beep right behind me, I look around to see a big black car. The windows go down and I see Harry.
"Do you want a ride?" Harry said and put on his sunglasses on top of his head.
"No i'm good, but thank you for asking!" I said while walking a little faster.
"C'mon! Why walk when you can have a ride?"
I started to get nervous and I decided to agree on getting a ride.
"Alright!" I said with a smile.
I opened the passenger door, when Harry spoke.
"Why are you sitting in the back? Come sit next to me!" He said. I closed the door again and decided to sit next to him. Geez he's so demanding, but in a cute way.
The ride was slow and awkward, I mean what could we even talk about? So I just sat there and looked out of the window.
"Turn right here" I said pointing at the sign. He did what I said and I saw my house.
"Well, thanks for the ride!" I opened the car door and hurry out of the car.
"Wait!" Harry said right before I was about to close the car door.
"You forgot your bag."
I looked at him with a confused face.
I was sure I had it in my hand, but I just grabbed the bag and closed the door.
I started walking fast and started looking for my keys. Where the hell were they? I took my phone out of my pocket and called my mom. She picked up after the second ring.
"Mom?"
"Yes honey?"
"Well um where are you? I think i forgot my keys at home and i'm stuck outside."
"I'm not home right now and i am not coming home till midnight."
"What am i supposed to do?" I said.
"Can't you call a friend?"
"Who the hell am i supposed to call when we're 72827227 miles away from my other friends??"
"Well, didn't you make any friends today?"
"Um oh yeah i did! Well i'll just stay there until midnight i guess.."
"Good idea honey, see you soon!"
"Yeah bye.."
I dialed Harry's number on my phone and he already picked up at the first ring.
"Hello?" He said in a raspy voice.
"Um uhh"
"Who is it?"
"I uhh it's me Emily.."
"Oh hi Emily, what's up?"
"Well i forgot my keys at home and my mom isn't home, so i was wondering if i could stay at your house till midnight? I mean if you want of course!"
"Yeah sure, i'll give you the address, or i could pick you up, i'm still driving, but i can turn around and i'm not that far away from your house?"
"No, no, no, it's fine just give me the address and i'll be there soon i guess."
"Alright, i'll text you in a second"
"Okay, bye, see you soon."
He texted me the address and I started walking.

After 20 minutes of walking I was finally there, I stared at the house and decided to walk closer. I rang the doorbell and Harry opened the door right away.
"Come on in Emily." He said with a smirk on his face.
I looked around to see the big house and lonely rooms. The house looked expensive and everything in here looked very elegant.
"Wow it's nice here." I said amazed.
"Thank you, i moved here not that long time ago."
"Do you live alone?" I asked very curious.
"Yeah, well it's a long story.."
"So!" He yelled almost giving me a heart attack.
"Let me show you around." I nodded and he walked in a room, I followed him to see that it was his bedroom.
"So as you can see, this is my bedroom, well yeah I sleep here I guess. Not much to tell." I laughed at the way he guided me around and we move on.
"So this is the kitchen and over there is the livingroom and if you walk further and the first door on the left is the bathroom. Any questions?"
"Not really" I said with a "Not bad" expression on my face.
"Are you hungry? We can order a pizza or something?"
"A little" I said.
"Alright, let's order."

"So what does your mom do for living?"
He said and took a bite of his pizza.
"Well, not much actually, there isn't really anything interesting to tell though." I said with my mouth full of pizza.
There was a silence... "What about your mom?" I said to break the silence.
"Same, there isn't a lot either."
"Do you have any siblings?" I asked and his mood changed right away.
"Well i have one big sister, but I don't see her at all"
"Why's that?" I grabbed another pizza and started eating it.
"She lives too far away."
"Oh" Is the only word I could come up with.
"Well let's not talk about me, why did you move here"
"That's a even longer story, but to make it short, I wanted to try something new. But i was wondering if I could get any jobs nearby, I really want to make some money to a new car."
"Yeah, there's a lot of available jobs, but if you need a ride, i could drive you to school every morning and drive you home everyday?"
"Oh you don't need to do that! It's okay" I said with a smile on my face.
"Your choice, but if you ever need something just ask" he said in a mysterious tone.
"Oh thanks" I said back.
